You will probably find something to buy here. They have new and antiques items. It's very large building 4 floors I think. The prices are at all levels. Parking on site but full on Saturday but parking on street. We had lunch in cafe after shopping and it was very good. Of the 3 antique shops we visited today this... More

Strapline for The Packhouse is "lose yourself amongst beautiful things" is completely true. Very easy to pass a couple of super hours browsing all the lovely different areas of the Packhouse. The Fig Cafe was fabulous too. Only spoiled by the rude lady on the main Packhouse tills whilst I was paying for my item. Anybody requiring a masterclass on... More

I go here whenever i feel a bit down, it has lots of things to look at and a cafe which does lovely food. The staff are really helpful and friendly and wrap your items up for you too, so you can give them straight out as a gift

We have visited the packhouse and fig cafe several times and usually love the place but today our dining experience wasn't up to the usual standard. I ordered eggs Benedict with bacon. When it came out it was swimming in hollandaise sauce - I realised later to cover up the cremated muffin underneath! The muffin was that burnt I struggled... More

What a great find this was. Based on several floors and sub floors there is an eclectic variation of antiques and modern furniture and objects. Wished we'd had a van and not a car (on holiday in the area otherwise we'd have returned quickly to buy). Well worth a visit

I loved visiting this place but it has fallen out of favour with me. The antiques side of the business is far smaller than it used to be, whereas there is more modern stuff of the sort you can buy anywhere.

Im not sure if it brands itself as a Antique shop or not. From the outside it does look like a high end Antique shop. I can confirm, its not. The place is huge. There are many different rooms all filled with very nice items. Im sure everyone that visits will want something they are offering. Lots of quality items.... More
