Skiing on real snow out of season is good, and is both more fun and better for learning than dry ski slopes. For one of my sons it was his first time on real snow after a number of lessons on dry slopes, and he took to it very well and loved it. There is only one slope to ski... More

There's lots to do from swimming to tobogganing. You do need to pay for parking . It really close to the town centre and ventura for shopping

I used to take my Brownie pack for their annual outing. They had great fun but it also gave them a taste of whether they would like to ski. Being a skier I have been many times with my friends who I holidayed with. Great for a session before going to the real thing.

Skied all day on a Tuesday as Hampshire holidays a week before Birmingham for a family of 4 for £110. Quiet and great fun. Bar/cafe quite but pricey. Had been before on a Saturday and it was crazy....worse than half term on the alps. So pick the right time

We went on mothers day and it was really quiet. My ten year old loved the tobogganing more than the tubing. It was very well run and the staff were helpful and friendly enough. We had burgers and pizza in the Aspen restaurant which was very good and reasonably priced. We will definitely be visiting again.

Worst point are the parking spaces are small. Not every person parks straight in the space. On the ice skating rink there should be more Marshall's to help people. Everything is well organised and signposted.

I took my son Matthew to the snow dome to learn to snowboard. We had used the slope extensively in the past to learn to ski and he fancied the chance to snowboard. The facilities were OK but the training slope was not the same as the main ski slope and was rutted at the bottom where snow had collected.... More

I received a Snowdome Voucher for my 21st Birthday and decided to use it towards a Learn to Snowboard in a Day. I had a AT as my Snowboard Instructor for the day and it was a great experience as I had never spent time on a Snowboard before but with previous board sport experience form Surfing and Skateboarding I... We went for the beginners full day course before going skiing. The whole day was incredible because our coaches Craig and Andy were so patient, concise and evidently had our best interests at heart. By the end of the day they were confident enough to allow us to ski from the top of the slope. Both coaches were helpful and... More

If you've never been skiing/ snowboarding before and you're wondering if you'll enjoy it, or if you've got a winter holiday booked and you want to get a bit of practice in before you go I would thoroughly recommend the snow dome. (If you go skiing on a regular basis or even if your rather good at snow boarding etc... More
