Basic Market

Just your average market like in most towns. You maybe could get a bargain if you're lucky. Nice still to see a market in the streets not tucked away.

If you like vising places and inhaling other peoples sweat, this definitely the place for you. I went along to the market to pick up some classic banging bargians, however I could not stand the crowded environment. I sure whilst fighting through the crowds, several people brushed their hands near my private area. This was very arousing, but I didn't... More

I was walking through Tamworth and unfortunately for me and my child(who has a phobia of obese people), it was market day. We were greeted with a below average looking man who was selling pillow cases with "Thomas the Tank Engine" on them. This resulted in Jerek(My son) bursting into tears because he has a strong hate towards Thomas. After... More

The stalls are full of cheap tat & the market is very small. Not worth paying for parking to come here.

A traditional market held every Tuesday and Saturday with a great many different stalls to wander round. Prices are competitive and the stall holders friendly.

I have been a resident of Tamworth for over 25 years and i am genuinely saddened by what has happened to this once historic town. Market Street is one example of an interesting and ancient street being ruined. The few old shops that are actually occupied are filled with cheap and nasty products, and the twice weekly market is ideal... More

Car park on the edge of town and straight to the market, with something for everyone. Plenty of local pubs for food and drink.
