Came to Leek to see the patchwork exhibition of Cariol Phillipson. Great free parking behind the venue, interesting exhibition (lots of ideas for my quilting wife!) We had a lovely sausage baguette each, very tasty. There are lots of other events at the centre. It is a community project with lots of volunteer help; it deserves to succeed.

My first visit to Leek, and I hadnt got a clue where to go for something to eat. Tried Costa...too busy. Tried another recommended place, but the staff ignored me, carried on chatting so I walked out. Foxlowe!! Wow, what an amazing place! Just like being in my own front room, interesting, cosy. Got served immediately, sat by the window,... More

It is with a heavy heart I write this review. I have visited the Foxlowe a number of times since it opened and have never been disappointed, however our last visit was disastrous. I am hoping it was just a one off, as this still remains a favourite cafe for me, and having tried hard to persuade the relatives who... More

We visited right at the end of a bank holiday, so unfortunately very little left in terms of food, but still we enjoyed the chance have a sit down with a nice pot of tea. I would definitely visit again, leaving a little more time to explore the rest of the building and the gardens. This place has a great... More

Love the Foxlowe. Would be there every week if I lived near by. The cafe is warm and inviting and serves excellent food. In the back is a bar and stage area which acts as a venue for live music and theatre. Will be back for the Leek Arts Festival in May. Can't believe that it took a bunch of... More

A great place - a great discovery! Lovely food, community feel, caters for all, special diets considered. Saw Fairport Convention here - fantastic gig. Changing art exhibitions make for an interesting visit any time throughout the year.

With and interesting and good menu this place should become very busy when people have discovered it. Art lovers will love it as the gallery extends into the dining area. Friendly staff and excellent service Lunch here was a treat we were not expecting. Used to the soup and something style this was a refreshing change catering for those with... More

Have just held our daughters wedding reception at the Foxlowe and what a great time we had. There was a vintage theme to the wedding and we were allowed to decorate the rooms to suit the occasion. A superb 3 course vegetarian buffet was provided for the 150 guests attending and there was plenty of food to satisfy everyone. The... More
