This is one of three good ale pubs all close together. The Coopers and The Devonshire are the others. Definitely worth including a stop for one in here if you are on the Ale Trail in Burton.

Probably one of the most best ale houses in burton on Trent . Julie the landlady has turned this ale house in to the best pub in burton. her choice of ale is second to none.5 stars

Came here on day trip sampling the pubs and beers of Burton. We stayed for a few, taking in the Rugby on Sky whilst we drank. This traditional single room pub sits opposite the former Ind Coope brewery and appropriately enough it is one of the now rare outlets for Ind Coope Draught Burton Ale.
