Visited for the annual model show. Great atmosphere, very friendly and helpful staff. And a super museum to boot

Can't believe that there is so much to see here and that it's all free apart from car parking. I have visited several times but always see and learn something new, indeed there is probably too much to take in on a single visit particularly if, like me, 'museum overload' creeps in after three hours. I found the Cold War... More

I cannot praise this museum enough, an absolutely brilliant place to spend a few hours, and the Cold War section is stunning.

It was last summer that we visited here - there was a food fair on so it was quite easy to get the better half over there! After we had finished with the food we had a good look around the museum & we were all very impressed. Excellent place to visit & incredibly interesting, look out for the Lightening... More

A fabulous well laid out and reasonably priced facility to visit. Being ex RAF Boy Entrant many of the exhibits brought back happy memories. The food and drink in the cafeteria were OK and fulfilled the purpose without being brilliant. The exhibits were very very good, well laid out and authentic, with some items unique. This was an excellent way... More

It thought it was asking far too much to have a family day out that delighted my two-year-old son, my 72-year-old stepfather, my husband and me equally but Cosford managed it! Fascinating place with plenty of planes and the odd helicopter to keep the little one captivated and informative displays for the history fans amongst us. It's an easy lay... More

Great place to visit with all the family - entrance is free but they would welcome any donations. Small charge for the car park & good cafe. Just prior to entering the aircraft section they have a fascinating area "a time line of world history" anything from the date the first mini came off the production line to the first... More

Brian F A fabulous place to visit. Being ex RAF many of the exhibits brought back happy memories. I have visited the museum several times and always enjoy the experience. The 4D theatre and the flight simulator are well worth experiencing. The food in the cafeteria was adequate, but not brilliant. The contents of the shop are extensive and pleasantly... More

Visited last weekend with the family. Was extremely impressed at the layout, the detail and the sheer volume of planes on show. Plus it's free! Yes there's a small parking charge but it wasn't being enforced when we were there but this would be a small charge to pay for such an excellent attraction. The Cold War hangar in particular... More
