Travelling to this area for the first time and choosing Serenity after careful research on the internet, we were not disappointed! We had the most amazing trip out for the sunset cruise, seeing our first puffin in the flesh was quite incredible and Andrew's knowledge and enthusiasm for his 'job' was totally apparent.... he took us into every nook and... Wonderful scenic and educational trip. The boat was modern and very smooth. Great for those photographers on board with ability to roam all around the boat. The skipper was very knowledgeable about the islands and wildlife, was patient with the questions and appeared to really enjoy his work and wanted his customers to get the very best experience. He manoeuvered... More

We visited the Farne Islands recently and decided Serenity would suit our needs. So glad we chose this one. We had a great run to the islands being given ample time to photograph the birds and the seals which we passed on the way to Inner Farne. We had an hour stay on the island which was brilliant including getting... More

I had read the reviews of other companies at seahouses but a few of them were a little unwilling when i explained I wanted my disabled daughter to come along. The owners of Serenity 2 couldn't have been more helpful, in fact the captain even told us the best day for the sea state. we arrived at the kiosk and... More

We have long wanted to see the Farne islands and managed it on this trip. We spoke to the sales girl who was very helpful and not at all pushy and decided that a catamaran was the best option. The trip was brilliant and we were taken up close to the islands to see the birds and seals. We were... More

We chose to book with Serenity based on previous Tripadvisor reviews and we're not disappointed. The crew were helpful, informative and got us really close to the rocks and birds so that everyone could see and take photos. They pointed out all the wildlife on the way out and told us all about them. On the way back to harbour... More

We chose Serenity after checking on trip advisor and boy are we glad we did. Our boat had 20 on it. The glad tiding boat that went out before us must have had 65 on it. It was great to be on an uncrowned boat. Could see everything that was going on. Got to see all the wildlife on the... More

Inner Farne is an experience of a life time, Arctic Terns, Grey Seals & of course Puffins and what an informative and relaxed way to see them. Serenity II got so close and maneuvered so that both sides of the boat had an amazing view and experience.

The two crew were really attentive and knowledgeable. They came around chatting to individual groups of passengers to share local knowledge. Knew lots about the wildlife and keen to share it. Got very close to the nesting birds on the sea cliffs and to basking seals. Taken nice and slowly so everyone got great views. Purpose built catamaran is very... More
