Shielfield hosts both the local speedway team and Berwick Rangers FC. There is ample free car parking and the stadium facilities are quite good both in terms of accommodation and food and drink. My visit was on a cold and drizzly night but there is a large covered stand to keep the worst of the weather out!

I visited Sheilfield Park with a group of my work colleagues to watch the speedway where The Berwick Bandits had a meeting with The Workington Comets. Our group chose to treat ourselves to the hospitality option as most of us had not been to the speedway before and we were all very impressed with what we got! Before hand we... More

Forget the obscene riches, histrionics and crooks in the professional game and take a look at the shoestring end of the soccer spectrum. Quaint little ground and the same 404 people who seem to watch every home game. After the match have a beer in Barrels Ale house by the old bridge, that's where a few supporters meet and gather... The review giving two stars is a joke. It's got very good facilities, catering options, keenly priced drinks. The race track is the best in, dare I say it "Scotland".

As a follower of non league English football(sorry berwick) I love this little quaint ground, very friendly welcome from fans. I like to chuck a few Berwick games in throughout season and the only issue I found there last time which I thought was hilarious but obviously it was during ground improvements was the lack of doors on toilets. Cracking... More
