Even on a blustery, wet and cold winters day, this beach is beautiful and there's so much space! I love the coast here, the beaches are clean...nothing much washing up on the shore other than a broken lobster pot and a bit of drift wood. Just a shame the dog walkers don't always pick up after their dogs. The space... More

Stunning scenery, we had a most enjoyable walk along the beach and around the castle, a memorable visit.

Arguably one of the nicest beaches in the UK. The lenght...well we didn't even walk all the way along it as it just seemed endless and the width was about 3 times the size of Whitley Bay. Very impressive, if you go to Bamburgh the beach is a must!

Accessible footpath, well signposted to the beach, plenty of bird life to watch on the coastline. A nice walk on a rainy day - particularly if you have waterproofs!

Can't believe we have just discovered this beach. What a hidden gem. We were the only people there. Our dog just loved it. Wonderful afternoon spent in a stunning location.

Whatever the weather it instills a sense of freedom! A walk that includes wonderful sand dunes with a maze of pathways, a beach of endless sand bordered by the most wonderful outcrop of black rocks that you can wend your way across. All of this with Baburgh Castle in the background!

One of the great beaches in the UK. Wide and long and a stunning castle backdrop. I enjoyed morning jogs, hot chocolate on the rocks with the family, built sandcastles and swam in the sea. Really really good!
