A gorgeous beach! Be prepared to walk over the sand dunes but it is well worth it. We parked in the free car park - get there before 10am to get a place, and then walked from there. You can park in the castle car park but there is a charge. You can also park further towards Seahouses with less... More

This is one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen. clean golden sand with a shallow beach is popular with surfers. The sand dunes offer shelter from the wind, creating natural sun traps and the perfect place to chill out.

This must be one of the best beaches in Britain, endless, spotless and not crowded, also spectacular views all the way up to Holy Island and the vast Bamburgh castle to the rear. Iff you get the weather it is fantastic if you don't it is still has a presence all of its own. Either Seahouses or Bamburgh are within... More

Dunes are fine when the wind's up. You can get some shelter. Sands are clean and uncrowded. Charge for car park at the castle.

Easy to find a spot to park for free, an easyish walk over grass & dunes to get to the beach. Beautiful spot, windy, wild & stunning.

The mile walk from parking area is a pleasure too but once you pop over the dunes to the sand the expanse is enormous. I spent most of my early childhood on this wonderful beach, for me heaven on earth

Great beach for everything! Kite flying, rock pooling, sand castles, paddling, all overlooked by the breathtaking Bamburgh Castle! Beautiful!

White sands, beautiful landscape, great for a walk. One of the best beeches in the UK. The last time I was there it was very windy but still exceptionally beautiful.
