The walk to Seahouses from bamburgh is about 3 miles maybe less it was very windy! Still a nice distance, a lovely beach and the dog romped from dunes to sea and back so he did twice as much. In Seahouses dog was allowed in the Bamburgh Inn where we ate a sustaining snack rested awhile then walked back .... More

This beach must be the best kept secret on the north east coast , simply stunning . Fantastic, with bamburgh castle as a back drop . Well worth a visit.

As other reviewers have said, this is one of the best beaches in the UK. One can walk through the sand dunes and then enjoy the unfolding of glorious views over the sea and Lindisfarne. Walking along the golden sandy beach with the wonderful Bamburgh Castle as a backcloth is a tremendous experience. Generally the sand is clean and the... More

Without doubt one if the best beaches ever. Lovely views of lindisfarne and bamburgh castle. The only negative being that none of the local cafés accepted dogs inside which on a cold winters day kept them empty!

without a doubt this is one of the best sandy beaches Ive ever been on. The beach has parking facilities and has sand dunes for some protection from the wind. What a view of Bamburgh Castle. Why not have a walk all the way to Seahouses.

We walked along the beach on a beautiful October morning and took in the wonderful surroundings. It's a vast beach with brilliant views of Bamburgh Castle. We parked by the road and walked through one of the paths down through the grassy sand dunes. It was early on a Saturday morning and there was only a handful of people about,... More

What a wonderful beach. We spent a happy hour at sunset and were wowed by the amazing views. Windy and sunny, blue sky, blue seas, clean white sand.
