Stunning

This beach on a sunny day is one of the best places in the country. So clean and tidy very well kept. Stunning with the castle in the background. Free parking.

Huge beach, hardly anyone on it. Fantastic views all around, best view of Bamburgh castle. If breezy just get in sand dunes and your sheltered from wind. A lovely spot and still amazed how few people go to it, think lots of people dont realise its there at bottom of narrow street. Spent many happy hours on this beach, one... More

Went here to do some rockpooling with my 6 year old. The event was run by the National Trust and despite the awful weather it was brilliant fun... I have never seen so many starfish, Crabs - especially hermit crabs - A great way to spend an hour or so with your children. It really is getting close to nature... More

My wife and i stayed here last week and locals advised us to drive or cycle along the Wynding towards the golf course.1/2 mile along this narrow road are free car parks and benches which look over the beach towards the Farne Islands, where you can watch the boats to and fro from Seahouses,Lindisfarne Castle on Holy Island and families... What a beach! Has to be one of the best in the UK. Beautiful part of the country. Busier at weekends.

What a fantastic beach to walk on. Try the walk from Seahouses to Bamburgh and back again if you're feeling fit or catch a coastal bus one way. A wonderful expanse of white sands, backed by towering dunes and the views of Bamburgh Castle and Holy Island as you walk. Rock pools galore (tide dependent) and many, many seabirds to... More

Probably the nicest beech I have had the pleasure to walk on. Set in the most breathtaking surroundings this was a very nice surprise as I had no idea that the north east was so beautiful. The beech is overlooked by the very prominent Bamboughra castle this gives it a sense of majesty and orr. Please try to visit I... More

The beach here is the best in Northumberland, clean and stretches for miles. It is great for dog walkers and when the tide is out the beach is so wide you hardly bump into anyone. It saddens me to see negative reviews just because of dogs on the beach. The whole area welcomes dogs to come on beaches and it... More

Running from Seahouses to Bamburgh this is a beach like no other. Amazing views across to the Farne Islands and up the coast to Holy Island. The sand is golden, the dunes are great to explore and there are great rock pools to paddle and play in. The iconic Stag Rock with the nearby robot head shaped coastguard station and... More
