We (the mother and myself) had an afternoon of kayaking on the river Coquet in Warkworth. We both really enjoyed the experience and have booked the coasteering at Howick - one of the most beautiful beaches on the Northumberland coastline. Getting back to kayaking though..... a quick safety debrief, wetsuits on and 3 hours of rowing, laughing, exploring the old... More

I would not recommend this coasteering activity, it states on the website that there is "towering vertical faces" which is not untrue, which leads you to believe that you will be jumping off them but no such jumps happen,. I would say if your happy with a paddle and a 2ft jump into the North sea then go for it,... More

We booked kayaking for 4 children, two aged 15, one 12 and one 9 years old. We met at the river in Warkworth. The equipment and initial instruction was very good, the instructor was friendly. The kids went off in two-man boats and were gone almost 2 hours. At under £30 each this was great value and they all had... More

My partner and I had a fantastic coasteering experience with Instructor Paul. We were part of a group of 8 which was a great size so that when taking turns jumping into the water it didn't take too long. The parts of the coast we were 'playing' in were very interesting, and as well as being an enthusiastic and encouraging... More

We spent the afternoon Coasteering on the beautiful North East coast and it was a fantastic experience. As a stag party, there were a few sore heads that morning however climbing rocks and jumping from 10m+ edges into the fresh North Sea sorted everyone out! There was a family who were also partaking in the activities however as Adventure Northumberland... More

Spent the day coasteering with my 3 sisters celebrating a hen do - all first timers. Had an amazing day with instructor Paul, lovely guy and very encouraging. I felt so accomplished once we'd finished and couldn't believe some of the stunts we did! Really worth the £ and an unforgettable experience.

If it had not happened to me I would not have believed it. This organisation are pitiful. On Friday I booked a coasteering session for myself and 2 children for Monday I booked in person due to issues with their online system/PayPal. Mail receipts came through fine I had spoke with Lisa who said they would be in contact. On... More

We had a great time coasteering with these people. Easy to book and very flexible as our numbers changed. It probably lasted just over two hours which was just right as we were all exhausted by the end. The instructors were friendly and funny and had great knowledge. A beautiful way to explore a quieter part of the Northumberland coastline.... More

...but I want to do it again and again! A brilliant, activity-packed afternoon of rafting, swimming, scaling cliff faces and jumping off them. The instructors ensure that you get the most out of the sea conditions at the time. Paul and Patrick were very encouraging and friendly; having not expected rock climbing and never having done it in my life... More

Had a great day coastering with Paul the instructor. It wasn't just about jumping off cliff and swimming through caves we were told about the local history, geology and wildlife. A totally amazing halfday which would be great in any weather as you end up soaked to the skin. The day gets gradually more daring but we didn't feel under... More
