We visited the Lighthouse Theatre around April 2014 to see Jim Davidson & Richard Digance. Basically all I wanted to say is that it's the most comfortable theatre that I've ever been in. Seats are fixed and padded so make for a very pleasant evening.

I have often thought there is a problem with sound system here. At the panto it was dreadful. Screechingly loud and quite painful. My 4 year old started to cry immediately and we had to leave. He is always fine at other shows and theatres. I contacted theatre by 'e' mail and twitter to complain and ask for a refund... More

Went to see this show with my family and friends, and what a show. It started with entertainers in the theatre foyer, which set the mood for a fun evening. I understand that the theatre is under new management and unlike previous visits the atmosphere was fun; friendly and gave a great buzz and that was before we had taken... More

Excellent venue and greatly improved over recent months. The shows and events are getting better everyday it's so good to be able to see the real acts and also tribute act's. food is now available on the bar which is a vast improvement if your feeling a little peckish.

I cant fault the theatre or the performances, something to suit everybody. The only down side are the toilets , On each visit we have found them to be dirty and not well serviced. ie a shortage of toilet rolls and on one occasion wash basins not draining and a dreadfull smell. We often have our 3yr old granddaughter with... More

Been going here for years, it's a great little theatre with some brilliant shows. Staff are helpfull but bar serving is slow due to a small bar. Tickets can be ordered online, over the phone or in person. Lift to upper circle which has a great view of stage and not too far away like other larger theatres.

We went to see the opening performance of Grease at this small theatre, It was easy to find , had an adequate car park, sensible sized bar and comfortable seats. Oh yes and the performance was very enjoyable too with some considerable talent especially the youngest members of the chorus who were clearly thoroughly enjoying themselves.
