We camped for 1 night and spent 2 days doing rides etc. Camping great value, £15 for a tent we had 5 children and 2 adults. The showers and toilets very clean and there are disabled facilities. Park rides are great for younger children we had children ranging from 4-10 yrs, enough for them all to enjoy something., and no... More

Fantastic campsite £35.00 for two night, shower block clean and tidy with no anti social behaviour come bed time. A large Tesco's nearby makes shopping easy and the Park Inn do a smashing 2.4.1 deal if you don't fancy washing up. The theme park certainly isn't Alton Towers but for £14 a wristband it represents good value as little uns... More

Firstly lots of great parking and you can choose where to park (ie under a tree to get some shade or round near the toilets). There are a good range of rides from the play park through to the go-karts. I took an 8, 6, 5 and 3 year old boys there and we just went on ride after ride.... More

Whoever is responsible for the organisation of the car boot sale on a Sunday isn't doing a very good job with the layout of the cars. On Sunday they were all over the place, wide lanes, very narrow lanes and some that only went half way down and then changed sides!! Please, please organise it a little better so that... More

This is a good day out for the family... Not a huge theme park, which leaves you exhausted from just walking around. Just enough rides to keep the children amused, and brilliant that there is a not a ridiculously high entrance fee, which is great for those who dislike the rides. You just buy wristbands or tickets for those who... More

Wicksteed is not Drayton Manor or Alton Towers, it is a spacious park with a few modern rides and quite a few that haven't changed since the 70s when I first visited the place as a nipper. We arrived on a Saturday at 10am before the rides opened and my 4 year old didn't stop until I bundled him into... More

Have always had a good time with kids. This year looks tired and run down There is a lot of building work going on to improve but looks unkept and overgrown while this is happening. Toilets very dirty and restaurants badly staffed putting pressure on staff working there however staff that were working were very polite and professional when dealing... More

Wicksteed Park is a stylish old fashioned amusement park located off the A14 in Kettering, Northamptonshire. Amazingly, the park opened back in 1921 and is believed to be the second oldest amusement park in the UK. The park’s attractions are in five main areas, a Playground for young children, a Fairground with rides up to 14 years old age group,... More

We visited for the day and found ample if not very expensive parking. There was loads to do for all ages however the cost of the wrist bands were I have to say considering the standard of rides there were way over the top. A good selection of places to grab cold and hot drinks to. It has the best... More
