Full marks to the Wicksteed Park staff for all the work that they are doing to enhance the park. The Winter walks around the lake have been superb with the more solid path and watching the wildlife also fantastic. For those who do not know there is a reasonably priced cafe open near the Carousel- I don't know why it... More

wasted £36 of my hard earned money on this event!!! our table was crammed in to the edge of the dance floor!! where i was repeatedly bumped into by other guests and waiting staff as we were so close to other tables!! The food was frozen garbage - Starter goats cheese tartlet - cold and tasted like sausage meat i... More

We arranged a work night out to Wicksteed Parks xmas party night on Sat 20th December 2014 and paying £36 per person we were expecting an overall good night out. When we arrived we had a wait of approx. 30 mins to get served at the bar, surely they knew how many people they were expecting for the evening so... More

This was a car boot sale on that day busy, but the parking was rather dear for just a walk around, the play area was not even open for the children, I suggest if you decide to visit, find a parking space near by outside the park itself. Lovely walk though, nice things to see and there is a lovely... More

I have been visiting every year since I was a child.always lots of fun to be had.clean, safe and well maintained.maybe in need of some modernisation here and there,I like the new ice rink area that's a nice idea and nice to get the children out of the sun on a hot summer day.a bit pricey but good value if using... We went in the summer with my 2 little ones aged 2 and 4 I have to say it was very clean and tidy but on the same note need a little modernising. They was a lot more there for my 4 year old than my 2 year old. Cafés I wouldn't biter with we only wanted cold drinks and... More

Wicksteed park I think you have to take with a pinch if salt. It may not be some fancy theme park. But it is a Fab day out with kiddies with great walks for dogs and an amazing park. Yes the rides are a bit pricey but you can purchase unlimited bands and it's local to us you can't find... More

I was sad to see negative reviews of Wicksteed on here, this place has given me 35 years of fun memories as a child and then as a parent. Wicksteed has many strings to it's bow, There are function facilities and a bar and restaurant on site, we have never used these facilities but the seem clean and well used.... More

The Christmas train is not worth the money at all- there is nothing magical about this. Even the children were disappointed. Would not recommend this save your money and take the kids somewhere that is actually fun and magical.

Expensive for what you get, we went on one of first rides at 4pm. Lights not all on until half way round and I have more I my back garden no way it's a parade of light. Hot drinks not suitable for little kids (cold juice needed) and cookie tasted stale and hard to be dunked to eat. Staff had... More
