Wicksteed Park is a stylish old fashioned amusement park located off the A14 in Kettering, Northamptonshire. Amazingly, the park opened back in 1921 and is believed to be the second oldest amusement park in the UK. The park’s attractions are in five main areas, a Playground for young children, a Fairground with rides up to 14 years old age group,... More

We visited for the day and found ample if not very expensive parking. There was loads to do for all ages however the cost of the wrist bands were I have to say considering the standard of rides there were way over the top. A good selection of places to grab cold and hot drinks to. It has the best... More

If you have a pleasant weekend day then £5 parking, a picnic and a play in the massive field and on the park is fantastic value. Other than that I paid £31 for... More

What isreally nice about this place is that you have the choice of just paying for your car park ticket ( around £6) which means you can wander in extensive grounds, bring your own picnic and enjoy whats going on, and bring your doggies for an outing, or you can opt to buy tickets/wristbands for the kiddies to go on... Spent a weekend camping, only took minimal food as expected at least one food outlet to be open for campers, but unfortunately hot food outlets stopped selling food half an hour before park closed at 5pm, so had to make other arrangements and find local McDonalds. Would have thought as campsite was fairly busy food could have been available until... More
