this is the place for all CHILDREN, big or small. BUT it is thankfully a place where children are encouraged to explore their imaginations and adventurous side. The emphasis is not on mind blowing minds to scare the life out of teenagers and wannabe teenagers but on family fun. There are vast areas of grounds to enjoy, play a game... More

The place is lovely good food lovely gardens but for a family taking children it runs out as really expensive we spent over £150 for a local day out with two children admittedly they went on all the rides but there aren't that many - we could have all gone to the seaside with petrol and food for less

Went with my young twins on a sunny Saturday, the park was busy but queues not too long. The redevelopment they've done with the lake as well as rebranding has updated it and makes it look a lot more modern. Rides and food were great value; we all had fish and chips from a stall near the pirate ship, the... More

An enjoyable family day out including 5 children who went on a lot of the rides available until they ran out of time! Plenty of space for a picnic in the grassy areas but PLEASE review your policy on dogs being allowed into the park. Not only were several not on leads but two of our party trod on dog... More

It really is a great place for a picnic and to have a walk by a lovely by the lake. The rides are still fun and words can't really describe what a great day you can have at Wicksteed. All in all its really worth making the effort to visit and enjoy the outdoors.

I have been brought here since I was a small child regularly and now I bring my own family. Lots of happy memories here. This isn't anywhere near Alton towers or Thorpe park style of theme park but I think this is why I love it so much. It's brilliant for all ages and has rides suitable for everybody. There... More

Always have a lovely family day out here. We as a family enjoy bringing a picnic here and enjoy a walk around. There are few rides here to enjoy too. Very reasonably priced. Great place for a day out!
