This is a little gem of a beach. No nasty amusement arcade after amusement arcade, but a beautiful wide sandy beach, provided you check the tide, as at high tide most of the beach disappears! There are sculptures on the promenade to add interest & areas for the kids to play. Fish & Chips, ice creams & other such things plus... More

We were very disappointed to arrive at Filey beach and find no sand whatsoever. Earlier in the day from our clifftop walk there had appeared to be plenty. We were deceived and frankly not at all convinced by the locallers hocus explanation about 'the tide', whatever that is! They say it's caused by the moon and so really they might... More

I go down to the Filey Beach Front usually for work purposes, it's great in the summer when it's hustling and bustling in the sun - a must for all of the family, even if it's just for a walk down the beach.

Came here with the family. My little boy loved the bouncy castle and the beach front is clean and today. It seems like I little gem hidden away but it's actually quite a huge beach.

Stunning beach and views. Nice and quiet and peaceful. Shame there were a couple of people who didn't clean up after their dogs which makes it look bad for the rest of us dog owners.

This is a fantastic beach. There is two parts to it. One for people with dogs and the other section is a non dog area. It's very clean, not a busy as Brid or Scarborough and there is plenty of space. If you want loads of shops and arcades this isn't for you.

We went to the beach in Filey, but it wasnt great, no where to sit as it was quite rocky. The weather wasnt great that day too, it was quite cold and windy. I would goto Scarborough next time instead.

Very clean and always busy. Loads of shops to buy ice cream and food. Very good price food and very close to the town.

loved the bay site , nice walk past lakes to beach. but in Filey itself steep bank down to beach and absolute terrible coming back up into town. John Paul Jones pub on site busy but good food, pleasant service, tip=book table for evening meals. Dogs welcome. Swimming pool and changing rooms clean, and not too busy. went into Scarborough...
