Lovely clean beach. Tide comes all way in. You can walk for miles on this beach. Filey Briggs is a real adventure and kids love it, great for rock pooling. We once saw loads of star fish on here there were thousands it was amazing! Fantastic walk along promenade with a 'shell hunt' visit many times a year.

Filey beach is a great place for an interesting, long walk. To the north it is bounded by Filey Brigg, a long rocky spit that is fantastic to walk down, but make sure he tides are right before doing so. Walking south, past the fishing boats at Coble Landing, it is possible to go for miles and past Primrose Valley.... More

Couldn't ask for a more picturesque place to visit. A five mile walk from Reighton sands to Filey brigg. Clean sands on which children can play to their hearts content. Lifeguard monitored swim zone in Filey and the assurance of the heroes of the RNLI stationed in Filey itself.

I holidayed every year as a child in Filey and was delighted on my return 45 years later to find it unspoiled. It was like stepping back in time but in a very good way. The Cobles still on Coble Landing and Filey still as pleasant as it always was.

Long stretch of beach, lovely for walking and just relaxing and watching the seabirds. Also a reminder of the war can be found by the pill boxes on the beach that have at some time fallen down from the cliff top.
