This is a very large beach and there is room for everyone to play games and just relax. The beach has restrictions which ban dogs from certain areas.

As it happens the day we visited it was a lovely sunny day, which I suppose enhances everything when you are on a day out. Having said that I suspect Fileys beach must rate as one of the best with its lovely golden sands. When the tide is out there is loads of room either to just plock yourself down... More

We were very impressed at how clean this beach is and it stretches for miles and miles. Lifeguards are on duty to provide extra safety. Views of the coastline are wonderful from here. There are lots of things on the promenade - Cafes, Amusements, Crazy Golf etc. The ideal place to visit either as a couple or with families as... More

We decided to take the dogs to the beach and it was all we hoped for as far as beaches in the UK are concerned. We parked in the long stay car park and walked across a rather nice park, with a café and toilets (always handy). It was lovely long stretch of sandy beach where the dogs could run... More

The weather was lovely and we had the compulsory fish and chips, After that we walked along the promenade and the to the Filey Brigg and back to buy some fresh crabs. We were lucky that the weather was very good and we enjoyed... More

A lovely vast expanse of clean sand running full length of Filey sea front and beyond. One point of particular interest is Filey Brigg. A rocky peninsular that is a joy to explore at low tide. Just remember that most of the Brigg is under the sea at high tide, so don't get caught out!!

A beautiful stretch of sandy beach that is spotlessly clean and stretches for miles. and because it is so flat it is easy to walk on, play games, build sandcastles etc...an amazing beach!
