Super place for a family holiday or a day out especially with young children. The beach is clean and big enough for everyone. A small amusement area by the lifeboat station and a lovely paddling pool at the south end of the promenade.

The best beach in the UK in our opinion. You can walk along the sands for miles. It is a clean, unspoilt beach and is stunningly beautiful in all seasons.

5 miles of beautiful sandy beach stretching from Filey Brigg round to Reighton. Really clean. Dogs allowed all year round except for one small stretch in font of the promenade in Filey itself.

Lovely view of the Bay from the beautiful gardens at the top. Nice shopping area, and some lovely places to eat. Plus there are no noisy Amusements spoiling the town. A lovely place

OK so I'm biased but I really dig Filey. Why? - too many reasons but celebrities and everyday folk are the same about the place - its just a quirky, cool place that has bundles of hidden secrets. Ive been visiting Filey since I was a small child of about 9 and now Im enjoying taking my own family there.... More

Beautiful clean beach in traditional unspoilt seaside town, lovely walk to Filey brigg at low tide. Great cafes, lovely bar Cobble bar & bistro (above the cafe) that is dog friendly and serves great food (& take away) public toilets near lifeboat house with outside tap to wash the sand away! Dogs allowed on cobble landing side of beach in... More

A nice beach but a little bit on the scruffy side in places. I would suggest working with Bridlington on how to keep things clean

Filey beach is beautiful. It lies flat full stretch of the bay and is a fabulous place to walk, sit and relax on and take the children to play. The wet sand areas are ideal for making sandcastles and the stretch of beach from the Cobble Landing to the Brigg is ideal for pebble and shell collecting. It is interesting... More

Clean and very entertaining watching people realising too late that the tide was coming in lots of wet feet.
