Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway is a fantastic way to see the resort of Cleethorpes. Steam and diesel locomotives on the 15" gauge track take visitors on a two-mile journey along the seafront, stopping at three stations. But the attraction is much more than a railway. It includes a tea room, The Signal Box Inn - reputed to be the world's smallest pub - a gift shop, locomotive sheds and workshops.

My two year old son enjoyed it but I think this train is expensive for what it is you only go up and back down didn't see much whilst on it either apart from grass and bushes. Toilets are filthy and stink it was horrible changing my son in them it's disgusting.

We visit Cleethorpes quite often and this time we decided to go visit Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway. There is a lovely atmosphere of greenery and it chugs along near the beach so nothing is missed, you can have a great day although the journey is quite short, meaning like a mile, and as well as this the fares arent exactly... Fun train ride giving you a chance to see the great sea shore and area along Cleethorpes front. Good value for money, suitable for all ages, nuggies accommodated. Had a great value snack in the newly refurbed cafe, well worth the visit.

Visited with my two year old and she loved every min. The staff were all very friendly especially the lady in the cafe. The train ride was really enjoyable, we did a full line return and it takes about 45 mins which is more than long enough. The food in the cafe was nice and all in the railway was... More

Little steam train that travels along the sea front, stopping at various stations for attractions. All the way for £4 return or halfway return for around £3.(adult) Going towards the pier just after Pleasure Island the old signal box has been turned into the smallest pub, where you sit outside at the station as only room for two or four... We brought our little girl to the Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway as she loves trains at the moment. The lady who sold us our tickets was really friendly and explained the timetable and pricing thoroughly to us. This was at the cafe counter and whilst there we noticed how lovely and clean the cafe was with a varied menu. Unfortunately... More

Great little railway but we could easily have travelled for free! There was no one checking tickets at any station! We are honest people so we did of course purchase a family ticket. (after several trips up & down the line)
