Type: Scenic Railroads, Landmarks
Owner description: Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway is a fantastic way to see the resort of Cleethorpes. Steam and diesel locomotives on the 15" gauge track take visitors on a two-mile journey along the seafront, stopping at three stations. But the attraction is much more than a railway. It includes a tea room, The Signal Box Inn - reputed to be the world's smallest pub - a gift shop, locomotive sheds and workshops.

Not open every day, but an enjoyable ride in good weather. Train travels along the track on the east of the leasure centre.

A fantastic little narrow gauge railway line (15 inch) and runs for two miles from near Cleethorpes Leisure centre up to near the Pleasure Island theme park. The Lakeside station about half way down the line has a small museum and cafe as well as "Smallest Pub in the World". There are some seasonal events held on the line at... More

Our grandson has loved this delightful train from being a baby. His "choo choo" and waving as he goes are very infectious for all on the train and passers by. We love it, as it takes you back to an earlier age and the smell of coal in the air. All the buildings and stations are well painted and cared... More

As a family we took a trip on the Hallowscream express we expected the small person to be happy but as adults we would be bored. What nonsense it was a great night out for old and young alike. Reasonably priced to suit families with first class entertainment included.

This railway is a lovely little method of transport but the station and museum, along with the Signalman's arms (The smallest pub on the planet) is an absolute delight. Manned right up until the end of the season (and often beyond) it is highly recommended

Running from Paradise Island to the Promenade near the leisure centre (with a stop in the middle where they have a little bar) this train is the perfect way to relax and rest your legs. Punctual service (there's a timetable) and reasonable prices this little treasure shouldn't be missed.

Took the kids for the Halloween ride. Think more effort should be made decorating the train as the men that jumped out and terrified all the little kids so much that all you could hear was sobbing was not a great start. Then when we arrived there was no where to sit all the tables were taken which was not... More

Turned up on spec at the station at Lakeside due to website issues - staff were very helpful and we were in luck as service was running. Even my daughter who does not share my transport enthusiasm enjoyed the round trip as you can see the park, Pleasure Island and the Sea
