Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway is a fantastic way to see the resort of Cleethorpes. Steam and diesel locomotives on the 15" gauge track take visitors on a two-mile journey along the seafront, stopping at three stations. But the attraction is much more than a railway. It includes a tea room, The Signal Box Inn - reputed to be the world's smallest pub - a gift shop, locomotive sheds and workshops.

We were staying over the road as the Premier inn and both mornings decided to come here for breakfast, excellent value for money at £4.95 for a big breakfast cooked to perfection! Staff fantastic and friendly. We then took the fantastic little train journey down to the sea front, great experience.

We've been on the Cleethorpes Coastal Light Railway before but were surprised and delighted that it's been extended. Running roughly half hourly it takes you from the Leisure centre to a station at Thorpe Park near Humberston passing Pleasure Island en route. An adult and child can get a return ticket for £7.50 for the two which is great value... More

Wonderful narrow gauge railway along the coast. Staff well motivated. Great café and a visit to the smallest pub on the planet is a must. All prices very reasonable and good value.

Fantastic little railway much better than expected. Good value for money at only four pounds for a full line ticket which totals a four mile trip. Food in café excellent and good value for money. Everyone very helpful with staff having very good knowledge about the railway plus free parking in nearby car park for disabled.

A small but proper steam train complete with real coal fired engine and smoke. Staff were helpful, price is quite reasonable. Goes from near the swimming pool to near the Haven Holiday site with a stop in the middle. At the mid station is a landmark that not many people know about - the smallest pub in England

Having rode on quite a few 15" gauge railways, I can say that this one is good, O.K. a bit expensive for what you get ( no senior concessions) although I did a full return trip, I was not asked to show my ticket. The route has some good views and some not so good (ie. the stretch by the... More

We visited when there was a Second World War-themed weekend. The staff and stations were fully supportive of it with singers and dancers plus people in costume. The staff were very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly so we had a great time. It was all just fun and the locomotive pulling our train was real steam so you had that great... More
