Steam and diesel locomotives on the 15" gauge track take visitors on a two-mile journey along the seafront, stopping at three stations. But the attraction is much more than a railway. It includes a tea room, The Signal Box Inn - reputed to be the world's smallest pub - a gift shop, locomotive sheds and workshops. « less

We really enjoyed our journey on the railway. Which took us on a fabulous journey along the cleethopes beach. We were looked after very well. We also went to the railway cafe. Great time had by all.

It doesn't matter what age you are you must have a ride on the little steam train which travels along the boating lake and past the show ground. Great fun

A pleasant little ride through Clee. Run by volunteers and well worth the money. My boy was so excited, and the driver and conductor were happy to let him watch them recoupling the train. We'll be back for the Santa special!

...... if not, then perhaps it should be. Cleethorpes enjoys very convenient motorway connections which makes a day trip very possible for many. It offers a very pleasant experience; including a long flat walk with good views, good fish ‘n chips, and its outstanding light railway. The attraction is an excellent example of a small scale train operation. It has... More

Fabulous little steam train. The children loved it. Round trip takes about 40 minutes. You can get on or off in three places. Apparently the middle station has the smallest pub in England... which we missed unfortunately :(

The railway is well kept and maintained, we had a great day out. Stopping off is a must at the signal box pub for all adults and the exhabition about the trains and where they came from was excellent. Well recomended experience.

Any children (and adults) with an interest in railways will enjoy the ride from the Leisure Centre to the Fitties. Steam engines are used at popular times - holidays and weekends - and there is a small museum at the main station. Sadly, the shop with model railways at the Leisure Centre station has been run down. Hopping on the... More

On arrival at Cleethorpes we stumbled on this train and decided to have a ride. It is a miniature railway and is pulled by steam trains, of which there are two running. The whole track is only a couple of miles in length but there are 3 stops. At the Lakeside Station there is a nice tearoom and museum which... More
