Visited this Zoo expecting it to be like most other Zoos and was very wrong. The place is run down and scruffy and you can get round it in 15 minutes! To start with you enter through to UPVC doors that are difficult to open and look like you are entering through someones back doors. You are then charged a... More

Lovely little petting Zoo, pretty small and definitely only takes about 1hour 1/2 to get round and I'd say a little over priced for the size of it however we had a lovely time seeing/feeding the Animals... The talking cockatoo kept us entertained and the free-roaming Iguana! And the cute meeracats. My 2 year old really enjoyed it!

What a nice time we had at the zoo. I took my 6 year old son in the February half term. It cost me £8.40 for the two of us. It is only small so an hour is long enough. My son loved it, he spent quite a lot of time feeding the chipmunks and talking to the parrot. The... More

This zoo should be closed down as the animals are kept in very small cages we were the only 3 people visiting! Don't visit waste of time and money I feel really sorry for the poor animals

We visited this zoo as a spur of the moment thing not really expecting very much. I have to say however we had a lovely time. The birds were very talkative and the meerkats made my day. We were also fortunate enough ( or not depending on your perspective ) to arrive just as the snakes were being fed. I... More

We arrived first thing, payed for the family ticket and spent a couple of hours looking round at the assorted animals. First was a parrot enclosure, then a humid enclosure with small monkeys, turtles and terapins, aligators and snakes. Outdoor undercover were more birds and George the very talkative cockatoo. Lemurs, meerkats, monkeys, pigs, roosters, then back inside to bugs... More

This is a lovely little place and yes, though little literally, its quality not quantity, right? Our 6 year old loves coming here...we live fairly locally and have visited The Jungle about 4 times with her now and each time, she has enjoyed it. There are enough animals to be entertained by, to talk about and to learn from...we were... More
