We took 8 guests to Chapel Down for a Gift Experience for my husband's 60th birthday. Our guide David, met us and escorted us to an excellent 3 course lunch with wine and coffee after which he took us on a tour of the vineyard and winery. Following the tour we had a tutored wine tasting. David was very knowledgeable... More

Rainy days make walking round the vines a little difficult but worth doing. Unfortunately we did not know that you have to book a tour of the winery so they were fully booked... Dropped a point for that. Wine tasting and the shop was good fun...lots of products from the winery and locally produced. Offerings of other interesting items from... More

Wife and I did the deluxe tour as a gift from eccentric best mate who knows I love English wine. Cannot fault it. All staff very welcoming, lovely lunch with choice of wine to go with, generous wine tasting, tour interesting without being long winded. Got given a bottle of fizz each on departure. Would very much recommend it is... More

Always a treat to visit The Swan at Chapel Down. The food is delicious and good value and a glass or two of English wine a must. The shop under the restaurant has a great range of delicious cheeses and you can buy all the Chapel Down wines - and more. Book a tour of the winery for an insight... More

Good and informative tour of the vineyard followed by the tasting of 7 excellent Chapel Down wines. Tour and tasting lasted just over 90 minutes. Shop has a very good selection of local, tasty produce. An excellent experience for all wine lovers. Thank you.

We did the deluxe tour which included lunch, tasting and tour of the vineyard. The Swan restaurant was excellent, I was a little disappointed we had to sit with the others on the tour as it meant we had a restricted menu. Saying that the people were lovely. The tour was interesting, although I felt the guide could have been... More

Chapel Down provide a fascinating tour and tasting for £10, which was good value. They said it would take 90 mins but we were the first to leave and we were 2 hours. It was interesting too hear about how they make wine in Kent and the controls that are in place. I have been on tours in Spain and... More

Interesting factual tour of the winery and vineyard by very knowledgeable guide who gave a good insight into the production process. Fascinatig explanation of the effect of climate/temperature change in the industry and how they are combating it. Informal but interesting wine tasting session with the best of Chapel downs world class wine
