Had a great day on the Chapeldown Wine Tour. Started with a coffee meeting the other guests in the cosy lounge then a fantastic 3 course lunch with a glass of wine pre-tour. learn't lots about the vineyards and their processes for their range of wines. Then the best bit, the tasting session! Our host was very knowledgeable and informative,... More

Visited Chapel Down last weekend with my wife and our parents. I had good prior knowledge of their wines, but it was still an excellent and informative visit. Unfortunately in March there is not much activity, but the tour guide did an excellent job at explaining the wine making process from vine cultivation & growing to wine production. The tour... More

Informative tour of the vineyard and bottling plant by the the very knowledgeable Gavin. We tasted about 6 wines, all very palatable, especially the Nectar dessert wine! Take your credit card as you will definitely want to buy a few bottles. It was only £10 for the tour and tasting, brilliant value for money, thoroughly reccommend it.

Visited after being in Tenterden for a sunday day out. Lovely shop of local produce and you get a chance to taste the award winning, wines and curious brew. We made the most of the tasting and bought a few different wines. The curious brew has to be the best beer I have ever tasted, fresh and clean.

My husband and I popped in to have a look. It was great being able to try before you buy. We tried sparkling wines, still wines, cider and beer. We ended up buying Curious brew beer, flint dry wine, English rose wine and wise owl cider. A great place pop in and find out for yourself.

Took my partner for a 'deluxe experience' on a Friday. We arrived in good time and presented ourselves at the entrance to the restaurant and was told to take seats and our welcome glass of fizz would be right with us. Well, it was most certainly welcome when it did get to us after about a 15min wait, and the... More

Nice sized shop to wander around with a good variety of produce. Farm shops and the like are my weakness, so I love to pick up unusual items not found in your local supermarket. The Chapel Down Wine Flint Dry was lovely and can also highly recommend their lager. There is also a nice garden and the vineyards to walk... More

Called in yesterday to buy some local produce, but the female assistant was so snappy and condescending that we ended up walking out empty handed and won't be returning. Some customer services training is desperately needed here.

I went along to Chapel Down with my husband. The experience starts with registration at 11.30 in the shop, where the staff were very nice and friendly, before eating lunch in the restaurant at midday. The staff in the restaurant did not seem very efficient and had to be asked more than once for things. The lunch did not start... More

I made the booking via the telephone nice and easily a few weeks prior to attending. On arrival there is lots of parking. We headed into the shop and let them know we had arrived and paid the £10 each. Which is great value given the wine tasting at the end. The tour is short but does show you the... More
