Prince's boasts 3 loops of 9 holes: The Shore, The Dunes and the Himalayas, all of which have their own unique characteristics and signature holes and have benefited from significant investment and redevelopment over recent years. Immaculate condition, a proper links challenge with rolling greens and steep bunkers. The wind always blows but you can't help loving every shot, no matter what standard. Excellent historic club house, we really enjoyed the whole experience.

Good test of anyone's golf and quite fun, especially the Himalayas 9 . Busy but not overly so , we were able to play as a fourball , just twice letting through a twosome over 27 holes . Stick to the fairways at all costs , otherwise you will lose a lot of time [ and golf balls] . Disappointed... More

Unlike the other course I played in Deal the other day. This course was very friendly and in great shape. Also the fact about socks on the Princes Course they told me was not true. Socks covering your ankles is fine at Princes... Hope you are reading this Royal Cinque Ports Golf Club. The club house was very nice and... More

We played the three loops of 9 at Princes. A Bacon Roll and coffee, 18 holes, ham egg and chips and 9 more holes. Rain was in the forecast - and we maybe had 10 minutes, otherwise the sun was cracking the flags. The guys and gals in the Pros shop were helpful, friendly and a great advertisement for the... More

I stayed here before, and returned in June with 15 other golfers, all agreed its a tough golf course but a great place to stay and play. I had decided to bring 4 mates here for my retirement celebration. they all scored it a 10/10 in every aspect food, golf and accommodation. The staff very polite and helpful, rooms perfect... More

Played 27 holes , not much between the 3 sets of 9 though "shores" course is most popular as it runs down the shore funnily enough ! Couldn't fault the day £90 for 27 proper links holes a bucket of range balls & a bacon roll . It's next to Royal st George's but princes is far better value and... More

Played here with clouds - some sunshine - lots of variable wind but, luckily, no rain! The 3 x 9 hole set up is a great test for any golfer; proper links golf. I really enjoyed it despite not hitting to handicap. Club house facilities were very good as well.

Even using our County Card (why allows you to play at the Member's guest rate) it was still going to cost us £140 for the two of us.

Preferred Dunes to Himalayas. Only played Shores in driving rain - very disappointing weather after perfect weather for the other 2. Helpful, friendly staff everywhere at Princes. Would highly recommend.

A great experience a little windy but should be used to it as play St Andrews Scotland. Course has changed since I last played. Much better old club house now beautiful accommodation. Next time will book to say. Thank you once again
