Just a bit gutted that the beach is on here - it's been a lovely quiet beach for years away from the crowds. We love it, and come as much as we can

Westbrook Bay has a lovely sandy beach with a great cafe called Pavs. Here the food is good, honest and excellent value. We sometimes drive over just to sit outside and eat a meal, cooked to order, whilst we look out onto the beautiful beach and sea. There is the opportunity to buy a replacement for that bucket and spade.

The beach itself is fantastic, we have been going every year with our local sure start,we have always spent a small fortune in the cafe there too. However, this time, the older lady in the cafe was extremely rude to myself and my son, and very unprofessional, and unnecessary! We wasnt going to let her spoil our trip though :-)

This is my favourite bay and takes me back to my youth when I had a beach hut on the promenade. Still unspoilt with just a café serving good food, snacks and ice creams

This is a great beach for families. You always have sand if the tides in or out. So your children can dig and build all day. It's great because you don't have to worry about moving from the tide too. It also has a cafe. A great beach for families with young children.

A genuine lovely sandy beach, lifeguards patrol in the summer season. Great sunsets and still a good amount of beach at high tide. Beach huts on the prom and the sand, toilets and cafe, though the latter is closed a lot which is not good!

and one of the main things that makes it so is that you have everything you could want on hand - old seaside loos yes but they are usually very clean - and the best part is the cafe. We generally arrive for late breakfast early lunch then sit outside the whole day - obviously if you prefer to bring... More

Loos, cafe, water supply, all poor, and no seating other than the few chairs outside the sad cafe. No deckchairs or windbreaks any more, the only thing that was an improvement was the new beach huts. A stunning beach, needs a big investment to get the visitors back.

I have a beach hut at this beach and I'm highly fond of this beach myself. Being a child, I know it is a great place for children you can sit there until late in the sun and its lovely place for a beach hut. The cafe however was not quite good:L from the outside it is unappealing it needs... More
