This is my favourite bay and takes me back to my youth when I had a beach hut on the promenade. Still unspoilt with just a café serving good food, snacks and ice creams

This is a great beach for families. You always have sand if the tides in or out. So your children can dig and build all day. It's great because you don't have to worry about moving from the tide too. It also has a cafe. A great beach for families with young children.

A genuine lovely sandy beach, lifeguards patrol in the summer season. Great sunsets and still a good amount of beach at high tide. Beach huts on the prom and the sand, toilets and cafe, though the latter is closed a lot which is not good!

and one of the main things that makes it so is that you have everything you could want on hand - old seaside loos yes but they are usually very clean - and the best part is the cafe. We generally arrive for late breakfast early lunch then sit outside the whole day - obviously if you prefer to bring... More

Loos, cafe, water supply, all poor, and no seating other than the few chairs outside the sad cafe. No deckchairs or windbreaks any more, the only thing that was an improvement was the new beach huts. A stunning beach, needs a big investment to get the visitors back.

I have a beach hut at this beach and I'm highly fond of this beach myself. Being a child, I know it is a great place for children you can sit there until late in the sun and its lovely place for a beach hut. The cafe however was not quite good:L from the outside it is unappealing it needs... More

Lovely sandy beach with all facilities - toilets, café, chalets for rent and nice wide prom. Ideal for families and children. For many years we hired a chalet for season and made some good friends who came back every year. We only stopped when chalet rental became hard to get it was so popular. Would highly recommend this bay for... More

This was my second visit to westbrook bay and it is an excellent beach..there is enough free on the road parking and easy access to the beach. There were enough toilets and they were clean. The major problem with this beach is the cafe/shop. The man and woman that run the shop appear to be so bored and irritated with... More
