Cosy, intimate, great value and good fun. Most beautiful small Theatre. Went to see Stephen K Amos live. Absolutely hilarious. You could tell he was massively enjoying the quirky nature of Margate residents. A hidden gem of beautiful Margate.

I visit this theater for a show. It is a cozy theater with a good visibility to the podium. The staff are very polite and helpful.

This theatre is getting some great names. Fab seats where ever you sit downstairs. Can't say about upstairs as we always sit in the stalls. Lovely theatre and makes for a fab night out

Just returned home from a show. Great show, beautiful theatre rude and arrogant staff. As my mother is a regular follower of tonight's act we are well aware of the no filming or photo policy. We were happily enjoying the interval when an ignorant women launched into a tirade about me filming and having my phone out and that if... More

I love the Theatre Royal Margate and have seen all sorts of shows and events there, from their Open Days to experimental theatre, a tour and Paul Merton. The programming is varied and brings in some of the best productions on tour around the UK. The auditorium is beautiful and if you go, walk down towards the front of the... More

This happens to be the second oldest working theatre in the UK having first opened in 1787. That alone would make a visit worthwhile but you will be further rewarded with comfortable seating, an excellent view of the stage and a warm intimacy boosted by the friendliness of the House Staff themselves. The interior, after much dedicated hard work by... More

This is a beautiful, if slightly run down theatre. Small but fabulous to attend and watch shows. We've only ever been for comedians or "small" shows for which it is brilliant, intimate and involved. It is probably my favourite theatre. The bars need more space to keep drinks cool and serve, but what can you do with an traditional old... More

Such a lovely old theatre. Staff were helpful and the seats werent bad considering its an old theatre. We did buy drinks from the bar and they were quite reasonable in price.
