Neptune`s Arm is just the right place to walk out on the water so to speak, on a beautiful day the view over the sea is fantastic, then you turn and look back on the town of Herne Bay, can be a little breezy!!

Neptune's arm is the sea wall that protects the bandstand/ beach on the Herne Bay front - it has seasonal astounding uses (such as the fireworks displays in Herne Bay carnival week when all the fireworks are launched from it to the delight of the crowd on the main seashore) but on an average day it simply is a ten... Anything to liven up this drab seaside town is to be applauded and in 1993 this long concrete arm leading out to sea was built. The walk out to the end is about 300 metres and it affords decent views of the seafront and puts one within about 100 metres of the rather unusually shaped pier. A shame that there... More

Had a walk along this on a chilly evening in September. Lovely view of the sunset and well kept and clean. Worth a go, its not as far as you think.

a nice walk at sunset looking out at the end of the pier, the wartime forts and windmills. Follow this up with some fish and chips on the beach

Found out about Neptune's Arm by looking on TripAdvisor while staying in the area. Even though it was early in the year, we were lucky to get a nice, albeit windy, day. There was plenty of parking along the sea front and bonus of free parking for a couple of hours as we were out of season! The arm is... More

Gets very windy on the arm. A good half hour by the time you enjoy the spiral staircase on the end. Good for giving the kids a run or scooter. You can fish off here at high tide. Beware dog foulings tleft behind by knuckle dragging morons

Neptune's Arm is a part of the Harbour wall at Herne Bay, its a simple walk to get to the end of it, although quiet a reasonable length of walk, and is wheel chair accessible. At the end of the 'Arm' there is a small seating area which is usually very quiet and a nice place to sit and take... More
