I'm pop into the Royal Cinema a fair bit as it is local to me. The staff are friendly and always offer a warm welcome. The entrance price is very reasonable compared to cinema complexes. The last film I saw was Dad's Army.

I haven't visited this cinema in years and although very comfortable welcoming and warm I hate the toilet facilities. There are only two toilets.... For a large cinema this is just pathetic and the decor and cystern functioning hasn't been updated in 50 years. Broken cystern and windows are not acceptable in this day and age. Needs a total revamp.... More

Quirky little cinema with only one screan, very cheap and lovely popcorn. Have been here plenty of times and have never had a bad experience. I come here for most of the films I see, it is a pity that they cant afford more films.

A brilliant little cinema showing all the latest films at bargain ticket prices (£5.00 any seat on my latest visit). ALL staff are friendly, helpful and have a smile. The cinema offers a range of snacks and drinks, and seating is spacious and comfortable. Just wish they were open in the afternoon on Christmas Eve... But that is the only... More

The Royal is brilliant! An old cinema, velvet seats, bizarre decoration and very polite cinema ushers! Latest films, live screenings! Usual price is £5 a ticket! A ' must' visit!

Saw Spectre there on Sat 31st 4pm show. Lovely old cinema with real character and only £5. Plenty of seats as its a 1 screen maybe 500? Ideal for a big film like Spectre.Nice decor and an old feel but comfortable. Pleasant staff and friendly. We even had Halloween experience as perfume wafted by but nobody was near us very... More

The Royal Cinema is an absolute find nestled in the heart of Faversham. Not always the first for new films, but it isn't far behind. It has incredibly comfy seats and a great very cheap refreshments counter (offsetting threat there is no child discount on tickets). If you park in the local car park beware very proactive wardens anything over... More

I much prefer coming here than to any chain! And not just because the drinks are so overpriced everywhere else!!! Ticket prices are only £5 and drinks and snacks very reasonable. Staff are lovely and friendly and we (usually) get lovely old style tickets which I have a rather large collection of now!
