Recently I visited Brogdale for attended a meeting at this venue within one of their meeting rooms. Parking was an asset, the meeting room was acceptable. After the meeting my colleague and I visited the cafe on site, pleasant surroundings but quite expensive!

First things you should do is put your name down on the list for a guided tour of the collection worth doing... More

Great place to take the family. Apple and cider festivals are fun. And there are always offers on Groupon to get half price tickets. There is always a variety of local food stalls. As well as a smorgasbord or apple juice and cider. During the festivals there is also live music and a children's section which is always lots of... More

Also at Brogdale, the foodie will discover "The Butcher at Brogdale" a purveyor of fine meats and sausages, the latter are to die for and are well worth a special drive out there. Damn it, I have just dribbled all over my keyboard again. The Butcher is free to attend although his waresare not free, of course. The National Fruit... More

Having never been before I did not know what to expect but we have had a great day. Kelly was fantastic and inspirational with both the children and adults. Myself and 2 children aged 4 and 6 have learnt a lot about what Brogdale is about and the mini beasts that we met. Excellent value for money. We will definitely... More

Had a great time at this enjoyable and fun Apple Festival at Brogdale in Faversham, Kent. Reasonable entrance fee and good parking to see the large display of apple varieties from the National Fruit Collection - apple pie eating competitions, apple display of over 400 varieties including over 100 you can taste and buy. But not just apples and other... More

Where else in the UK can you see the entire country's fruit tree collection. Today's Apple festival highlights the fantastic work they do. Got to try loads of apples and pears I'd never heard of AND got to taste test new varieties and give my opinion. A great way to interest the future generations in British produce! And we bought... Possibly not one for the kids as this is essentially a collection of fruit trees (although they do have a great miniature railway which runs through the estate), but if you enjoy nature and want to experience something different, make sure you go when the apple trees are in blossom. Alternatively, try to go when they have one of their... More

The farm offers a great family day out. We've only been on event days and had great fun. I wouldn't pay the on the door entrance fee, but a groupon deal makes it great value. My biggest tip is get there early especially if the weather is favourable. The tractor ride around the tree collection is worth doing - our... More

We attended the "beastie day" today at brogdale farm, I think it cost about £6 or £7 for a child ticket and the event ran from 10am for the day. The children loved catching the bugs and seeing the bug roadshow, also doing the arts and crafts. Kelly was brilliant with all the children and a really lovely person, couldn't... More
