My son loves the miniature railway here. It's about 12-15 minute journey around the orchards. Just enough time (particularly when it is freezing cold) for the kiddliwinks to enjoy the train and spot a few well placed creatures, before they lose interest. The staff are always kind and helpful and seem really enthusiastic about the railway. There is a small... More

Been going to Brogdale Farm now for over a year & cannot fault the quality of meat sold there, we go there once a month to stock up & always bag a bargain (last month got 10 average sized ribeye steaks for just £20.00 & were so tasty). I can also back up another persons review that the old spot... More

I stumbled across the Beastie day at Brogdale on the Internet. Having been there a number of times I thought it would be something different to do with the kids in half term. The total cost was £15 and was told to bring a packed lunch. To be honest I wasn't expecting much. We turned up and were split into... More

Brogdale are a recent addition to Whitstable but we like them very much. Why, well the quality of the meat is very good; Free range fowl, special offers, proper produce available like real mutton and partridge [both of which I've ordered for Christmas] as well as the everyday bargain offers. Colin and the team are ALWAYS cheerful, engaging and friendly.... More

We took my in laws to Brogdale a couple of days after their apple festival weekend as the were visiting from the South West. Thoroughly enjoyed a couple of hours wandering around the Orchards. Very informative and a pleasant group of 7.Weather wasn't bad and would imagine it to be stunning on a sunny spring day.

My second visit to Brogdale, but now it is necessary to go with a guide if you want to see the trees close up. Unfortunately we missed a tour by half an hour and the next one meant waiting for an hour and a half. We elected to follow the self guided trail but you aren't allowed go where you... More

Brogdale takes pride in growing apples and pears and other fruits that were in danger of disappearing from our tables. We visited on a Monday and were not able to sample the famous apple cake but there was plenty fresh fruit on offer plus a variety of delicious apple and pear juices. There is a top-class butcher on the site as... More

We have visited Brogdale on a few occasions for their various festivals (Cherry, Apple and Cider) an Easter events, we have always had a super day whenever we visit Brogdale Collections. Our most recent visit was the Cider Festival and what a great day out for the family, very reasonably priced, and excellent value for money. We spent the whole... More

This was our second stop for our group tour in Kent. We had arranged a type of Plowman's lunch. Well if you hadn't been plowing in the morning, you had to have a very flexible stomach to eat it all... but it tasted great. Than we had a guided tour through the collections under a harsh burning sun. Luckily the... More

Agree wholeheartedly with the previous reviewer. We have been to Brogdale Farm a couple of times before and enjoyed wandering through the orchards. At £8 each, I had images of us wandering through the orchards plucking cherries from trees, comparing and contrasting the flavours of 200+ different varieties of cherries in the collection. Ha ha! And so we arranged to... More
