As well as the fruit farm and events held there is a cute miniature train attraction, good home cooked food restaurant/cafe and interesting retails units selling great produce. Very friendly atmosphere possibly not the place for teenagers though! Take note though that there are usually fees if they are running an event such as the cider or cherry festival.

I truly adored this event, I wasn't expecting it to be so wonderful! Me and my daughter enjoyed the dinky train, lots of delicious food and I was absolutely smitten with the orchards. I will definitely keep an eye open for future fairs! Well done x

I had been looking forward to this event. we came from north London. overall I enjoyed it. there was a nice country fayre feel about it (including the home made cakes and teas) - it so reminded me of my child hood and church fetes. It was fascinating to try all the cherry varieties, which was really why I wanted... More

Today we attended the Cherry Fair. The weather was lovely and we enjoyed our ride on the miniature railway. Cherry tasting and purchase had been moved to the shop and progress in the queue was very. Parking very good as was the Solley's cherry ice cream. Overall quite expensive to get in and separate fees for the other attractions such... More

Went to Brogdale for the Cherry Festival as got tickets off Groupon. The suns was shining which was great and there was a room where we could try different cherries which were for sale. We saw pig racing which was quite cute with the piggies, and watched a pie eating competition, pie eating competition however was a bit disjointed. However,... More

On a glorious Summer Sunday, we were looking forward to visiting the Cherry Festival. We had a discount voucher which gave us half price entry - normal entry charge was £8 per adult. Once inside, we wanted to pick up a snack for lunch but there were very few options and all had very long queues. They were the usual... More

Something for everyone: fresh fruit, vegetables, ice cream, farm animals and of course locally brewed drinks of all types. The small-gauge train was fun and, when we were there, they had a 'birds of prey' demonstration. Excellent and well done.

Shopping at the butcher in Market Square, a fruit festival (Apple is our favourite), a visit to the play area or a trip on the miniature railway, any excuse: our whole family loves this place.

This restaurant is set in a courtyard with tables outside and in. We sat inside and found the restaurant clean and tidy. They have a good selection for lunch including sandwiches baguettes and full meals. I had cheese sandwiches with apple chutney and a side salad and crisps. It was really tasty! There were lots of desserts to pick from... More
