Relaxed homely type venue. Pleasant staff and concert goers. Sound system tends to be too high for seats near the stage.

What a fantastic place to spend an evening with family and friends. The staff were brilliant serving food and drinks to a large number of people and nothing was too much trouble. The theatre is a delight and I look forward to seeing a production here soon.

This antiques fair is held in the Astor Theatre on the 3rd Sunday of every Month. I have visited this fair many times over the last 5 years. I have always found something of interest to buy. On three occasions I have had my own stall, and have found the organiser extremely helpful.

The Astor is not only a theatre but also a venue for various other local events such as antique fairs and, in this case, wine tasteing. The event we attended was French wine tasting (Bordeaux) accompanied by an excellent meal. We were told about the wines by a very entertaining speaker and enjoyed following the tasteing instructions. The tables (4... More

I haven't visited the Astor Theatre (http://theastor.org/) for some while and was delighted to see how it has remained a great venue for music, theatre and the arts, and a real asset for the people of Deal and the local area. Now branded as the Astor Community Theatre (ACT) it has a packed programme of events to suit all tastes.... More

When in Deal why not sample this beautiful, friendly and intimate Theate venue. The Astor offers a wide range of regular and special events. Superbly run by a dedicated team of community theatre fanatics. We have sampled the regular Tea Dance to several live performances in lovely surroundings. Check their website for the wide range of events and support this... More

Seen a few acts here, from folk to rock, and it is a great intimate venue. With great sound, good staff and an increasing number of bigger acts coming to town. It also holds antique fairs and varying lessons through out the day. I would highly recommend a visit.
