Have been a couple of times now because I enjoy cycling.I would say if you didn't,there isn't a great deal else to do.We tend to go in the week when its quieter. If you bring your own kit,all you pay is £1.50 for parking for the day which I think is quite reasonable. The cafe serves a wide range of well priced... My husband and I took our son to Fowlmead in March and were really impressed with the large and unique park for children. However, in July I returned with our son and my friend and her child visiting from America and to say we were disappointed is an understatement. Luckily we walked and did not pay for parking. When we... More

This is an amazing place as the scenery changes through out the year, with each season. I have spent many days wandering the woods taking pictures of the wildlife, riding my bike around the various cycle routes and then ending up on the cafe for some food and drink. They are renovating the site at the minute, building an improved... More

visited today with family(partner and 2 kids under 8)and was very unimpressed with what i saw. firstly there is no provision for disabled parking and even with a blue badge we still had to pay. next we went for the previously fantastic kids plaay area which we founf to be a building site with just a small normal one in... Now called Betteshanger Country Park. Great, knowledgeable staff, well maintained bikes and a 2 mile flat, tar Mac'd cycle track that has given our kids cycling confidence in the basic skills before venturing off track. We visited again today and they took off on their own adventure while we walked the dogs on the outer reaches. It's a beautiful, wild... More

The park is being developed at present with the building of a visitor centre underway. You can walk or ride round a tarmac circular route or if feeling adventurous go off road on the mountain bike tracks. The bike hire was not expensive, £5 for an hour. We had an enjoyable hour riding calmly round in mid week.

Safe and fantastic place for all the family to go on your bike. Take a picnic as the cafe can work out expensive. Keep on the path or go off road. Walk as well and go into the woods. Great day out.

Park is nice and if your a cyclist it's good for you. It's very limited if you have a dog as they have to be on leads most of the time
