Toilets seemed scruffy and needed a tidy up. Play area ok. Did not like the new parking barriers and as it was a last minute plan to go here ended up paying about £20 for food which wasn't good quality. It felt like the place is going down hill for walkers and only concentrating on cyclists.

This could be so much better than it is! Firstly you have to pay, just to get into the car park, which I didn't expect. We are not cyclists and just wanted a walk around, however there is a total lack of signage for the different routes. Therefore we were never certain if we were on the right path, especially... Visited here loads of times in the last year or so... will keep going. Great route on tarmac for bikes and the family to walk on, useful for buggies too! well thought out route off-track for the more advanced riders who are up for a challenge. However, a couple things would really lift the place... 1. Quickly replace ActiveTrail arrows... More

This place is absolutely Fabulous, great for children with bikes, scooters. It's just £1.50 to get in and providing you have your own bikes, that's the total cost!! Otherwise you can hire bikes for a very reasonable amount. I have 2 boys ages 11 and 9 and they love just going round and round the track and then going off... More

This is a fairly nice place to walk, especially with a dog (on a lead), but where it comes in to its own is if you come to cycle! It has a leisurely road track, and a very fun and in places challenging off road mountain bike track. Finally there is a really fun and compact bmx track. If you... More

I do like fowlmead. Great use of a site, staff are superb and are very helpful. It's a nature reserve and cycle area with walks and trails for all abilities. There is a long Tarmac track with a fast lane for Lycra racing types. Signs everywhere draw attention to this. There's always a few thickies that can't comprehend what a... More

This place has come a long way in a short time. Its great to explore the outdoors by foot or bike. Increasing amount of events on sites, alongside a good car park, nice cafe/information centre and toilets available.

Very bleak while trees grow - and an unwelcoming entry charge - to risk life and limb while unsupervised, unregulated bikers whizz all around. Don't let your kids go alone!
