I can't believe that I lived and worked in London for so many years without visiting Hampton Court until this week. From the very first moment you set eyes on it, it's amazing. The whole experience of the two palaces is wonderful. Excellent guides make the whole (rather complicated) layout so much easier and there is so much to see... More

This is a great facility between Hereford and Leominster - beautiful gardens, a number of water features (including a lake, a river, and ornamental ponds), and great picnic areas. Kids love it - woodland walks, a hedge maze, an interesting castle, and an ice cream shop. There is a cafe - worth a visit but inconsistent. Last time we ate... More

Enter the castle & follow the one-way route around thru richly decorated rooms adorned with armour, weapons, chandeliers etc. If you want to buy the Estate, it’s yours for £12 million. The gardens were nice but we visited in April so there not a lot of growth or flowers on display & sadly the wisteria arch was not in bloom.... More

We spent an enjoyable day here. The family ticket represents good value. The maze is fun but actually quite small.you need a whole day to do it . justice .

Despite monsoon type weather, beautiful gardens. Yummy chocolate brownies and flapjacks in the cafe. Took advantage of the audio guides and maps and toured the Palace, eg the kitchens, Henry VIII's apartments, his younger life etc. Learnt a great deal in beautiful surroundings. If you want to see the church, check times, we visited on a Sunday and just managed... More

This is the only castle in London and surroundings where you can have such a complete tour to chambers and even the kitchen. It doesn't take more than an hour/hour and a quarter by tube and train. The different areas of the castle are open to the public with a very good audio tour handy. The gardens are beautiful even... More

March was not the most perfect time to go, because the flowers were just starting to bloom, but the Gardens were absolutely breathtaking, and wonderful to walk around. The Castle is currently under minor renovations, but most of it is open to the public. On an easy train ride out, I was able to get to and from London within... More

I arrived at Hampton Court Palace just after 10am on a freezing cold February morning. First things first, I had an excellent espresso in the Kitchen Cafe which set me up for the rest of the morning. I used the audio guide which is included in the price of the ticket. The information is comprehensive but even so, the staff... More
