Masses of outdoor space, great for children as it absorbs visitors across its wide lawns and has child friendly activities. Good cafe in the Orangerie, fast service, plus interior and outside seating. enrty is though the large English gardens that are generally well tended and beautifully designed. The house (ancient interior, Victorianised) is of limited interest unless you are keen... More

We spent a lovely few hours here with 3 teenagers and an 8 year old. The tour of the house was well done - enough information to appeal to adults and not too long for tree children. The cafe served good not too expensive food and there was plenty of space for picnics if you brought your own food. There... More

Wonderful place, This is a "must" if you intend to visit London. Beautiful palace, full of history and glamour. Some places in the palace look to be haunted, the gardens outside are superb and everything is very well preserved.

We had a lovely day out at Hampton Court. There is a maze, lovely riverside walk, large areas of grass to stroll or picnic on, the house to look round. We also happened to visit on the day of a falconry display and then happened across morris dancing on our way back from a walk by the river. We wiled... More

Wow, didn’t expect that! Stunning grounds! Absolutely beautiful Gardens, and worth a few hours to see those alone. The House itself is interesting, we took a guided tour which was very informative and worthwhile, the house was saved from demolishment by an American family who restored it to look how an American would consider an ‘English stately home’ should look,... We visited the gardens this week and what a glorious treat they were! The maze must not be missed, especially the tower... I can say no more, but it's a must see! There were some beautiful sculptures too, which fitted their surroundings beautifully. It was an unexpectedly lovely morning, well worth a visit.
