The castle was large and fantastic. Could really picture the way it was during the reign of King Henry the 8th. But the grounds were the best part. The gardens were massive, it was impossible for us to see it all. It was also breathtakingly beautiful. Perfect if you love landscape shots.

NOT to be confused with Hampton Court Place in London (as some reviewers appear to have done), Hampton Court Castle in Herefordshire is well worth a visit and, like us, you may find you want to return to see the gardens at different times of the year. The very photogenic formal gardens and grounds (which include a lovely waterfall setting)... More

This may be a little bit of a train ride out of central London but it is worth it. If you ever wanted to have a sense of how the rich and powerful lived in Tudor times, this is the place or should I say palace for you. From the working kitchens (they have people cooking items on the main... More

Not that expensive to get in. Loads of rooms to go round and see. Staff are friendly. Lots to do in the grounds outside as well.

We really enjoyed this fair. It is a fair to buy presents not to entertain the young. We bought wonderful things like antique French linen and an Indian quilted dressing gown. Better than expected!

I recently spent a week-end in London with my wife and son who is working there and he brought us to see Hampton Court Castle and Gardens. It was on a beautiful sunny day in October which helped to make the visit very enjoyable. There is so much history attached to the castle and it was brought to life by... More

Even though December isn't an ideal month, we thoroughly enjoyed the visit. Seeing Henry VIII's apartments and learning about the history were fascinating. Beautiful setting, wonderful architecture.
