Great day out. Allow a whole day to see everything and do the private tour of the house too. It was a highlight, due to the ability and experience of the guide. Would return.

The house was just lovely inside, seeing how the kitchen was then and how the rooms looked all the pictures and furniture to look at we also had a lady that took our group round and explained what is was like to live then and got the children to join in some things that they used to do back in... Did the house as part of our trip to the whole Motor museum experience. Definitely a good quiet time in the middle of a busy day - a little more sedate and relaxed than the rest of the exhibits - the kids were pretty impressed but were keen to get back to the action. Beautiful place with some wonderful things... More

Covered by the National Motor Museum entry fee. The family still live in the house so the areas open to the public are limited - certainly when they're at home - so there's not that much to see but it's an interesting building set in beautiful surroundings.

We visited Palace House as well as the motor museum, garden and auto-jumble event being held that day. Altogether they represented reasonable value for money given that we pre-paid our ticket giving us a discount. I had thought that the house and garden would be the main highlight of our visit (actually it was the motor museum - and I'm... More

All of the grounds that we saw within the Beaulieu estate were beautifully maintained and pristine with nothing out of place. This discipline is evident when visiting the house and Abbey. It is all well presented, fascinating and interesting in the same measure. There is so much to see and well worth the effort as every room telling another chapter... More

I found the house quite interesting but the history of its place in spying during the Second World War was fascinating. The abbey was a bit disappointing, not really my scene but the car museum made up for it and the overall visit was very good and reasonable value considering it covered all three visits.

Beautiful and interesting house, although quite a large part is closed to the public as this is private apartments for the Montagu family. We really enjoyed the Abbey and the history of the monastery and the monks who lived there, it was very thought provoking. The War exhibition and the gardens were also very good and the Brabazon restaurant had... More

We were advised to go here, by our hotel. It is a beautifully well kept home of The Montagues, who still live in part of it. We were lucky enough to coincide with a small tour of part of the private apartments, which is well worth doing. The story-teller that took us round brought each room, and many family articles...
