There are tours , One at 1-15pm & the other at 3-15pm , Which I missed .Maybe should have waited... More

Mainly just bits and bobs of the ruins left but very interesting and everything well signed and informative . Almost missed it though as there really is so much to do and see at Beaulieu and for all ages . A full day out . The house is well worth a tour as well as the gardens and of course... More

We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed all of the attractions here at Beaulieu, from the National Motor Museum and Palace House to Beaulieu Abbey, which are all included in the admission ticket. Although there isn't much left of the abbey, we really enjoyed taking a look around the ruins. We were entertained by a passing 'monk' who spent a bit of time chatting to us, explaining how life at the abbey sued to be, and, naturally, cautioning us against vice and sin! Well done, you were a highlight of our day! I'd... More

We are delighted to read that you enjoyed your visit to Beaulieu Abbey and Palace House, in particular regarding your encounter with our ‘monk’ character, who will be delighted to hear that his talk on monastic life was the highlight of your day. Although the Abbey was partially demolished in 1538 by order of King Henry VIII, the sheer scale... More

Short and sweet review here, an excellent day out for all ages, great for car enthusiast, plenty to entertain the children and for those who enjoy the history of the abbey and palace, well worth the £20 adult entry fee.

Visited Beaulieu today and went to the Motor museum, Abbey and the Palace. A very worthwhile, value for money, day trip. The short film in the Abbey was worth a watch and the Secret Army exhibition was very interesting too. We don't have children young enough, but I did see lots of little "educational" but fun bits and pieces dotted... More

Several different options when you visit Beaulieu. I enjoyed the abbey the best, although much of it lays in ruins. But the history of the abbey and its destruction I found very compelling. I also found it a wonderful place to enjoy some quiet and tranquility; time to reflect and listen. The palace house was nicely done, but wish I... More

The abbey especially, is stooped in history, and although there isn't much of the original abbey left, a lot has been done with what remains.

Beautiful house, set in gorgrous grounds. Really enjoyed walking around the house and learning of its history, then taking a peaceful stroll through the abbey. Worth seeing when being at Beaulieu.

Good day out and enjoyed all of it. Motor museum is very interesting, as is the Abbey and house. The top gear stuff is ok but a little tatty and rusted. Mono rail is very cramped and the restaurant was very expensive.

We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed your visit to Beaulieu. Many of the weird and wonderful vehicles in World of Top Gear, which were created for the challenges on the television programme, have led a hard life during filming before being on display. The Brabazon restaurant, which is run by separate catering firm Leith’s, offers high quality refreshments... More
