Nice house, but restricted to just a few rooms, a pity we could not see more of it. There were people dressed in period costume, and always looked like they were about to do something but nothing actually happened.

You have to be into cars/motorcycles to enjoy this very expensive attraction Thought as it advertised two days entry for same prices there was a lot to see (there were a lot of cars). No pushchair acces to Palace House (only a few rooms) or upstairs in Abbey (mainly a ruin) which is fair enough. However steps everywhere in car... More

Loved the house inside & out. The Abbey was fascinating, some of it still standing. Love that the church, which is still in use, was originally part of the Abbey which dates back to the 12th century!

We caught the monorail from the car museum and walked around the house and abbey. The grounds were lovely and there were lots of personal and historical items on display in the house. The ties to the family were clear and interesting, loved the drawing room. It was a sunny day, so we sat by the water for a while... More

If you're into old traditional houses, you'll love this. The dining table blows me away. When you go, take a walk down down the path along the river. Really relaxing.

We had visited the car museum so took the monorail down to the Palace House. We arrived just in time to get on a tour of the private rooms. The guide was brilliant, enthusiastic, knowledgable and funny. Giving us a insight into the life and history of the Montagu family. Even our 14 year old son thought it was good... More

The entrance fee to this is part of the general admission to the Beaulieu motor museum. It would probably be best to allow a day to visit and enjoy all the features, cafe is pretty good too!

Thank you for your feedback. As you highlight, your Beaulieu admission ticket allows access to Beaulieu Abbey and Palace House, in addition to the National Motor Museum. We recommend 4 hours for a visit, but many of our visitors stay for longer, while the Brabazon restaurant serves high quality food and drink throughout the day. More

It was a cold day in January when we visited, but we enjoyed walking around the ruins of the Abbey and the museum. The Palace was warmer and also interesting. Leaving my husband to Motor Museum, I joined the guide on short walk around the Palace. It was an interesting talk and I was sorry not to take up the... More
