Well this is a very simple revue. Visited here recently and a very interesting place including the motor Musemn . They have a cafe / restaurant that would sell the worst food I have ever bought. They sell out dated sandwiches and there scones are a little short of a rock as so stale. The ones that enjoy there food is the... A visit to Beaulieu is a great day out for the whole family. Not only is the House and Abbey ranked with Chatsworth, Blenheim, Woburn and the others as one of Engalnd's top ten Treasure Houses, it is also home to the National Motor Museum with more than 250 vehicles dating from the late 19th century to the present day.... This is a huge part of the Motor museum. Big park and kitchen gardens to take in all the various smells. The house is OK, but being disabled I did not get the full view here. And I do appreciate they cannot fit a lift in this old building. The abbey was the best part with a film to view... More

Visited the house as part of the motor museum tour. Very well maintained with informative staff to provide more information. Beautiful part of England.

..not that I am encouraging them to up the price. But you'll need to put a good four hours in to really appreciate. Loved the tour of the house, despite being a National Trust member and having been to umpteen historic houses - the animated female tour guide in her maid's outfit was excellent and really made the house visit.... We stayed in the area and although my other half does not like the sound of a Motor Museum we paid our Senior Citizen rate and went in. We rode the Monorail which gave us a good view of the gardens, and where to find the Abbey and Palace, it even went through the Motor Museum so we had a... More

One of the most interesting site visited since long! I though, wrongly, it was only about cars. What a mistake! Much more to visit : the house itself, the huge gardens with bushes, trees, flowers, vegetables, statues, herb garden, ..... The remains of a wonderful abbey, beautiful landscape, .... A very good self service restaurant, with kind and helpful staff.... More

We visited the motor museum and the Abbey-Palace House. Only part of the house is open for visitors. The gardens are beautiful and well worth walking around. The motor museum is interesting and worth a visit. However, I do not think that it is worth the money, it is very expensive for what it is.

We did not expect to find so much there for the price we paid (being 60 now we get a cheaper rate). We arrived at about 1115hrs and were very nearly the last out at 1750hrs and could have spent longer there. The Motor museum is second to none with everything from the 1st car and bikes to the 2014... More
