We arrived at 10 and did not have to queue to park. Parking charges £8 for 4 hours is expensive but you do not pay any other entrance fee except for participation in Go Ape ( £8 for our 9 year old) , and a ride on the mini train. There is a restaurant, an older play area with several... More

We went because it has Junior Go Ape which is superb - costs £18 per person. But there is so much more! For just £9 all day parking fee, you can walk the play trail which is completely free and every few hundred yards there is a gorgeous piece of play equipment! We took 4hours exploring this and still rushed... More

We've visited Moors Valley hundreds of times and it never fails to be a great day out for the whole family. With the Adventure Trail with numerous wooden climbing frames (with a new one currently being built), Go Ape, the train and a large picnic area what isn't to like! There aren't any bins but it a huge wood and... More

I visited Moors Valley today with my son (3) aunt and her two girls (10+11) it was FANTASTIC! We arrived at 10:20, left at 5:00 and STILL didn't feel like we were done! We are planning to return at the weekend. The cafe and parking are a bit pricey but more than worth it for the park!! The gift shop... More

Had a really lovely day out here on Easter Monday. The little steam train ride was fantastic. We have 2 sons aged 5yrs & 2yrs & they loved it. By the time we sat down for lunch, unfortunately the restaurant had run out of a lot of our choices for food but we still enjoyed what we had & you... More

Spent a great family day out at the country park. The park is really well maintained and there's lots to do with the children. It was a bit annoying there didn't seem to be any bins at all in the park though. Cost of parking was also extremely high but I guess it helps subsidize the running of the park.... More

We walked from Ringwood which was about 3 miles. Came across it by chance and glad we did. Had various activities and we went on the little steam train. Has a restaurant and visitors centre and loads for the kids. Loads of various walks as well in the forest if that's what you would like to do. A definate.

As the parking was about £3 per hour we were determined to only stay an hour but ended up staying for 3 hours, mainly because the toddler play area was so good. The little one wanted to find the gruffalo so we did that, the cafe had yummy cakes and hot chocolate. Baby changing came in handy. We watched the... More
