We picked a bad day because it was raining throughout, but the 20km circular route we picked was very rewarding regardless. We did not see any deer at the deer feeding station, but did see some through trees on our track, it's also great for hiking and families!

The trip around the whole New Forest, amazing sights! Used an all day ticket purchased on the bus.We did four different areas, stopping in most villages etc if you wanted to get off the bus.

Great scenery and lots of ponies donkeys, cattle and sheep around. Perfect weekend away. Purchased a treasure map to explore local area - well worth the £5.99

Really nice bike ride through the forest last week, but definitely avoid AA Bike Hire in Lyndhurst if you can. On the plus side, a standard bike is about £10 to hire, but the owner had some serious personality issues! My partner and I spent about 45 minutes in his 'hut' waiting for our bikes even though there was only... More

We flew down from Newcastle for a family wedding so didn't have a car. We stayed on for a few days to see a bit of the New Forest. All the brochures I read encouraged us to leave the car at home. We found it very difficult to get around as public transport is poor or non existent in some... More

So much to do. Deer sanctuary, paddling in the streams at Wootten, long walks, ponies etc. The list is endless. Great family place to visit.

This trip was multi purpose and we were visiting a sick uncle and also have a few days away. There is plenty to see and travel around while seeing the wild life and local scenery . Take your time and see it all as its one of the best parts of England
