We have been many times before and we went on the middle day this year, which was well attended. The management of traffic was abysmal with many visitors spending two hours to get from Lyndhurst to the car park. The management office was inundated with complaints about the traffic management and the parking. There is a lot to see and... More

1 ½ hours to travel last 5 miles to show – total lack of any traffic management. Sign at Lyndurst indicated “turn left ahead”. It should have said “take next left”. We (and many others) missed the turn to go around in a circle to join the traffic jam again. Miraculously a second sign appeared adjacent to the left turn.... More

Like some other reviewers I was disappointed with the show overall. This was our 1st visit since moving to the area some 4 years ago. Initially surprised that online tickets sales system did not support Google Chrome so paid full price (£20) when arriving at the gate. Amazed so few tickets outlets available entering the site. There was chaos in... More

What's not to love, it's lovely at any time of the year, with such a variety of woodlands, heathlands and large open spaces. A must visit.

The show it's self is excellent however the traffic control leaves me feeling very frustrated and would stop me going in the future. I know the road system of the new forrest very well and cant believe it took 1 hour to get from Cadnam to Lyndhurst, 5 miles and another 40 minute to get to the show from there,... More

I have been to the New Forest a few times but cannot claim to know it well. I had a few hours in the area earlier in the week and drove around. I would suggest a visit to Beaulieu which is a very picturesque village where you can have a dip / swim in the river. Brockenhurst is also a... More

Arrived to find disabled car park full, expected to park miles away. Terrain not wheelchair friendly, no signage to toilets, crowds could not move forwards or back, main ring events couldn't be seen due to lack of seating and fast food vans blocking arena. Only one police officer had been requested for all three days and he was overrun with... More

Although the New Forest itself is one of the most beautiful places in England, this years show will probably go down as a disaster. Nothing but a very expensive market with a gymkhana going on in the middle, that nobody can get to. I paid £20 to get in. My daughter was free being aged only 4, if we want... More
