This trip was multi purpose and we were visiting a sick uncle and also have a few days away. There is plenty to see and travel around while seeing the wild life and local scenery . Take your time and see it all as its one of the best parts of England

Came to the New Forest for a long weekend and had a great time. Very scenic, lots of independent pubs, cafes and restaurants to visit. Loads of physical activities available - we cycled one day which was a great way of seeing the forest. Would recommend for a great British weekend.

We spent an afternoon in a section of the forest near to Burley. It was a hilly area so had stunning views! Loved stroking the beautiful horses of the New Forest!

groupon deal for £21 pounds a lesson... seemed like a good deal... upon arrival there was no one around, we went to the guy in the wet suit container, he asked us was time our lesson was and then just told us to wait until our time... we waited outside the container for half an hour whilst he yawned away... Gorgeous place to visit! Had a picnic in the deer park which was lovely. Beautiful surroundings. Stayed in Lyndhurst which is a lovely village and also visited Burley - would recommend Forest Leisure Cycle hire to explore the area.

Our hotel was perfectly placed adjacent to the road through the New Forest. The forest is great for walks and for Wildlife. The village of Lyndhurst is quite picturesque and has more than its fair share of cafés tea rooms and other assorted places to eat and drink.
