A fantastic area for all ages. Beautiful views, lots of wildlife. Watch out when driving through the forest and villages for wild horses, donkeys and deer.

A great place for cycling! Though the whole day of cycling is pretty a lot as there is number of roues to choose from. One day cycling should be started from the morning in order to have time for nice lunch and chilling as bicycle rent closes at 5:30 (if you come for one day). Really nice place even so... More

Have been through the New Forest on many journeys but never off the dual carriageway. This weekend we supervised the DofE group so gave us ample oppportunities to get off the beaten track and explore. Went to some fabulous areas and also the villages of Lyndhurst, Burley and Brockenhurst. Beautiful part of the world and ample opportunities to get and... More

The New Forest is a unique region of England with a long history and charming communities and wonderful waking and hiking areas. The enclosures are beautiful and peaceful, and the free-ranging ponies, donkeys and cattle add to the charm on the heaths and in the various small town's commons. There are many historic houses and gardens to visit as well.... More

Great walks ,with lovely scenery. Ponies and horses walk around the streets. Quaint little cafés to stop for a cream tea which is a must !

We enjoyed our walks here so much; not too taxing, very peaceful, nice to just stroll along, holding hands and enjoying the beauty and the occasional pony!

We walked for miles and very rarely saw anyone else. So many hidden gems, you have just got to go walking in this relaxing area.

I recently spent a couple of days in the New Forest on business and it was beautiful. Coming from a built up town, to what felt like the middle of nowhere! It was very peaceful and tranquil, the only 'traffic' I got caught in was cows and horses on the road!

Had never gotten as far down as the New Forest but what a lovely experience. Beautiful countryside full of new forest ponies running free. Lovely little villages with excellent restaurants. A must visit.
