I love the New Forest. It's so well managed and maintained and Because I'm a 'horsey' person, thhere couldn't be a better place in the world than where the horses roam free.

Spent a Saturday in the New Forest and enjoyed every minute there. The trees are starting to look lovely. There is always plenty to see and I think this area is unique in the UK.

Always lovely to visit the New forest. Can be very busy on the approach to the Forest but well worth the visit once you've parked up. Plenty to see and the children always love to see the wild ponies.

Stop and have a picnic and a walk but take your rubbish home and your doggie doos too - but beware, the local people who walk their dogs do not abide by... More

It was amazing to walk among the "horsies and ponies" and yes you do feel like running by their side and feeling the smelly wind in your face but we were a little too afraid of getting to close to them (although some people got... Having done our research before setting out, the 1st thing we did after checking into our hotel in Lyndhurst was head for the tourist info office & buy a cycling... More
