The Hawk Conservancy Trust is a conservation charity and award winning visitor centre that operates in the fields of conservation, education, rehabilitation and research of birds of prey. Set in 22 acres of woodland and wildflower meadow, there are over 150 birds of prey on view, from the tiny Pygmy Owl to the impressive Steller's Sea Eagles! Many of these birds are involved in the spectacular daily flying demonstrations, whilst others are part of important breeding or environmental enrichment projects. Every visitor can hold a British bird of prey and there are extra activities during weekends and school holidays for the younger visitors.

An excellent day out with varied imaginative flying displays and bird-meeting sessions throughout the day. We unexpectedly got involved in a medieval re-enactment that formed part of one of the flying displays which was a real highlight. The staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable, and really care about their birds, and there is a real emphasis on vulture conservation... More

My husband and I took our 7yr old daughter today (30/08/2015) arriving at around midday. It was our first visit and we were not disappointed at all. The whole day was truly amazing! The flying displays are not to be missed and if you are a fan of owls (as we are) you will be mesmerized. The staff are all... More

I have visiting here since my children were small. I now go with the grandchildren. Amazing place to visit. The flying is the best I have seen anywhere. ☺

Although we are members, and visit often, the staff, healthy birds, well kept grounds, and excellent displays never fail to impress !! The structured day flies by, and we look forward to our next visit!!

Took my son who is due to start conservation at college. The layout is very well planned with lots of room in front of each bird so easy to get photos. The displays we saw (wings of Africa, valley of the Eagles and woodland owls) were all fantastic with the birds obviously enjoying their flying time. The staff are very... More

The Hawk Conservancy Trust at Andover is a truly fantastic day out for all ages. The flying displays are brilliant and so much fun, the birds are so well looked after by a dedicated team. We will be visiting again.

We visited with the kids (8, 11, 14, and 16) and they all enjoyed it. We arrived just in time for the first bird show and stayed for the rest of the day, leaving after the third and final show (and the ferret race...). All three shows were very different from one another, and each of the "presenters" were both... More
