Owner description: The Hawk Conservancy Trust is a conservation charity and award winning visitor centre that operates in the fields of conservation, education, rehabilitation and research of birds of prey. Set in 22 acres of woodland and wildflower meadow, there are over 150 birds of prey on view, from the tiny Pygmy Owl to the impressive Steller's Sea Eagles! Many of these birds are involved in the spectacular daily flying demonstrations, whilst others are part of important breeding or environmental enrichment projects. Every visitor can hold a British bird of prey and there are extra activities during weekends and school holidays for the younger visitors.

Had an amazing day even with poor weather. All birds very well looked after, staff obviously care about the birds and where they work. Everybody very helpful and knowledgeable. Restaurant and facilities also brilliant. A great day and will definitely come again.

Four adults visited today on a Groupon voucher for £55.88. We didn't get there until 12pm so really paid half the price for half a day which we thought was fair. The weather was bright and sunny so we had a wander round then had a quick lunch in the very nice cafe then went along to the flying display... More

Really is worth visiting if you are in the area. Entertaining displays delivered with humor and a chance to hold a bird of prey. This place is a bit of a gem , has a good cafeteria / resteraunt. If the weathers fine both kids and adults will enjoy the visit.

Been past dozens of times on the infamous A303 but this time we had time to stop. The entry price is not to bad for this type of attraction and they do do good rescue work so its for a good cause. What seems to be quiet a small collection of cages/enclosures actually opens up and keep going and going... More

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit here, there was so much to do, the housing for the birds is the best I've seen plenty of space, all clean and well kept (except for breeding birds which is to be expected) There's plenty to do for all ages, the staff are very informative and friendly and are always happy to answer any... We visited the Hawk Conservancy for the first time in October half-term 2014 with 5 children aged from 4-11. It was a great day out and good value as we used Tesco Vouchers (but I don't think £10 is too much for a child anyway). Easy parking and well signposted. Lots of picnic tables and open enough open space for... More
