Fabulous place to spend a short time or a whole day. Lovely surroundings for you and all the Birds. Full of things to see and endless information, demonstrations throughout the day are great with the chance for children/adults to participate. 2pm show is the best. Beautiful large eating area in and outdoors. Quality of food leaves a lot to be... More

Recommended by a friend who lives locally to the centre, we took the family down to Andover with a good feeling about this conservancy. It's easy to find, just 5 minutes drive from the A303 and well signposted too. There's also plenty of parking which is essential as it doesn't seem easy to visit via public transport. Entry prices are... More

We visited today, as a family, with a little anticipation as we aren't really bird enthusiasts.... Until today! I can't begin to recommend the hawk conservancy enough, a really reasonably priced family day out! The flying displays were simply breathtaking with a running commentary by staff who obviously have a real passion for their jobs alongside a wonderful sense of... More

This is a great place for a family day out. Lots to see and get involved in. The flying display of kites, eagles and hawks was superb including audience participation. The cafe menu had lots of choice and the food was very tasty.

A wonderful, entertaining and very knowledgeable day out for all the family. The displays were awesome, you might never in real life see some of these birds so close up again unless you return here !

I've been going to the Hawk Conservancy for years...lucky that I live a few miles away, I guess! But I'd travel a lot further to spend a few hours with the extraordinary birds who live there. There's something about birds of prey...they make you smile, with their mixture of zany antics and disdainful stares. And as you stroll from enclosure... More

I have a fair few visitors from overseas, some of them equipped with wonderful cameras they like to try out - and some with children. This is a great place for a visit, as you get really close to the birding action and the commentators for the displays are knowledgeable and very calm with these birds of prey. the amount... More

Make a day of it as there is so much to see at the Hawk Conservancy and the flying displays that take place at various times in the day are amazing...and you even see a few wild birds joining in on occasions. The restaurant has a good choice of light meals for lunch and children are well catered for. I... More

Fabulous value for money day out. Entry is about £12 adult and £8 child (You can print a free child voucher from hampshire days out website) and it is worth every penny. The place opens at 10 am, and events are organised throughout the day until 4.45. Just show up at the right place at the right time. There were... More
