A wonderful place, steeped in history! Staff all very friendly, small cafe & gift shop too. The kids loved dressing up in the Tudor clothes & Amour. Sadly.....we didn't see any of the ghosts. :( Free admission (although we made a donation) & only £2 to park the car! Brilliant!

I have passed this place many times & decided to visit. What is on view to see is very interesting but whole areas of the building is not open to the public which is very disappointing given the size of the place. You are in & out in 30 minutes tops. Not worth going out of your way for unless... More

This old hall is truly a hidden gem in this area of Salford. It is surrounded by housing, businesses, retail and leisure and so unexpected a find. It is well worth the effort to find it and visit - you need a couple of hours but could do it in an hour if you were in a hurry. Great friendly... More

Excellent hall and history and what made my visit even more interesting was the interaction and history lesson to visiting school children, yes I did stay and listen to the history given by the "period dressed staff". The hall is free, but please give a donation - parking is £2, there is a small cafe which is reasonably priced. The... More

Visited the beautiful Ordsall Hall during half term with a 10 year old and a 13 year old. There was a small charge for parking but plenty of spaces. Entry to the hall is free although any donation is welcome. Good access for disabled people and wheelchairs. Toilets with baby changing facilities too. There was a small cafe but we... More

I took my mam to see the place she grew up, the atmosphere was relaxed and we enjoyed a walk round. Great for bringing back old memories
