The sea life aquarium is quite small compared to other national aquariums but the exhibits are just as good, if you take your time to look at the fish, frogs, turtles and lots more then there's plenty to see. It was good for our 3yr old but only took about an hour (max) and that included running back to see... More

I visited here today with my 2 children. We started off in the restaurant where we waited over 25 minutes for our overpriced crap food, which when it did finally arrive was freezing cold. We then moved onto the aquarium which was once again over priced, my eldest daughter is only 2 1/2 but is tall for her age so... More

We visited as something to do with our 1yo, it was £20 for us to get in, (half the price of colchester zoo which is massive!!) so we thought it would be very good. The only bit we really enjoyed was the tank of stingrays and big fish. Even the sharks werent that impressive! Deffo wouldnt pay that price again,... More

Its ok, fish were pretty much as advertised on website. Few tropical fish, the under water tunnel was good. Downside its expensive for 45 minutes (and we really took our time). 1/2 the educational questions on the walls with buzzers were not working. We booked online and saved about £6 (price after discount was £21.48 for 2 adults and a... More

Had a great day here yesterday, lovely place, really friendly and helpful staff. The talks were well worth listening to, Lara and Leah were great. Food was good, but gift shop let the place down a bit.

Popped in to aquarium to try and keep five year old amused. Feel like we were robbed.£27 For two adults and a child. Seen better fish at garden centres. The restaurant is probably bigger than the fishy area. Perhaps they ate them all? Staff were friendly, but we didn't go there to talk to people.

We went here mostly to get out of the weather and were pleasantly surprised. It's nowhere near as drab as it looks from the outside. There's an impressive variety of aquatic life in some well maintained tanks - enough to keep three adults occupied for 90 minutes, which is what we wanted. Though we don't have any, the place was... We visited Aquarium on Easter Mon Bank Holiday. Purchased family tickets online (nearly £6 total savings on 4 family members) - you could do it even when entering Aquarium as they send you 6 digits number that you have to provide at till, no need to print tickets. My girls 8 and 10 enjoyed the visit. There was also face... More

We decided last minute to check this out with our kids aged 9 and 5. The staff deserve a special mention! Really made our kids feel special and even sang my daughter happy birthday. Special easter events on which added to the experience. The sea life is great, not massive selection to see but enough for the price and you... More

visited here over the bank holiday weekend. First thing I have to mention is how amazing the staff were. Every member of staff I spoke to was full of energy and polite. Extremely helpful and all offered amazing customer service skills. Loved walking around the centre and seeing all the different sealife.
