A great theatre right on our doorstep. The Queens Theatre is the home of the UK's only professional resident group of actor-musicians. Each actor in their multi-talented ensemble also plays a huge range of musical instruments live on stage. From musicals and comedy to thrillers and drama, cut to the chase... can do it all. Great discounts are available if... More

Judging theatres by its productions is hardly indicative of the theatre itself. This building is a fine local theatre which stages an admirable range of theatre events throughout the year. Good sight lines inside, nice areas for a drink and food available in a foyer type area. All in all a useful facility.

Devisers: Maggie Norris and Paul Kerryson Director : Matt Devitt Musical Director : Julian Littman Choreographer : Valentina Dolci A cult musical, originating in medieval Germany, is nearly 25 years old now. Set in suburban 1970s, with music from Donna Summer to Johnny Rotten, it's tongue-in-cheek campery all the way, delivered expertly by Cut to the Chase, the Queen’s own... More

Just got back from the 2nd preview night of Roll Over Beethoven. The cast were brilliant and so professional you'd never have guessed it was only the 2nd night. Cannot recommend this production enough. If you can get tickets GO!!

Go to this theatre usually in early December to see a tribute band called Talon.it is a pleasant little theatre, with comfortable seats and in the tiers usually a good view.it has a place to get a limited amount of food and refreshments and a bar which gets pretty packed. Staff are pleasant and it is quite clean. Only downside for... More

We came as a group to watch Les mis as a Christmas treat from our bosses. As my first trip to a west end theatre I found it absolutely amazing and enjoyed every minute of my visit. I fully intend to visit again soon

Wonderfully talented, enthusiastic, energetic and just "all round great" actors, musicians and singers. Have seen many splendid productions here. First went 55 years ago when it was in the middle of Hornchurch. Since I moved back here 2 years ago, I have seen every production through JumptheQ which gives amazing value for money. I even go to the musicals because... More

This is my local theatre sadly now under threat of closure due to cuts in grants. I've seen many excellent shows here over the past thirty odd years, lots of them previewing before heading up to the West End where they become smash hits. High quality acting, comfortable seating and really competitive pricing - far cheaper than those West End... More

Good value tickets. Great performances. Friendly box office, ample parking and reasonable drinks. This brings so much business into Hornchurch. I enjoy shows here as much as the West End. Food corner is a bit rubbish though and could do with a costa/similar concession
