My sister, brother-in-law, myself and my hubby went to see “Sleeping Beauty” on Saturday 10 January 2015 and had a great evening. The costumes were gorgeous and the lighting, sound and sets were great. Our favourite character was the wicked Fairy Carabosse played brilliantly by the talented Carol Sloman. All the usual family fun with singing and clapping and the... More

My wife and I took our two grandchildren to see the panto', Sleeping Beauty, on Friday 2 January. We have been regulars at the lovely Queen's Theatre since moving into the area six years ago and have seen some really great shows there. This traditional theatre is ideally situated adjacent to a pay and display car park and, for anyone... More

We came to see Sleeping Beauty, 3 adults and a 5 year old. Had a fantastic time. The pantomime was brilliant, great entertainment for children and adults the whole way through. We have heard that council funding will not keep this theatre going. It will be a huge shame if this were to happen! The place was packed out. I... More

This is a great local theatre, it has a small sandwhich sweets bar with minimal selection so i would recommend bringing sweets, but apart from that it is great, all seats have a good view, got a bar, all the requirements needed.

We went to Queens on Saturday night to see the last performance of "Return to the Forbidden Planet". It was our first time there and we were really impressed. We arrived early, about 5.30pm, and easily found a space in the car park next door. It is free from 6pm, so we paid 20p for the half hour. After a... More

Saw Lend me a Tenor last night and a great performance once again by the theatre. The actors were clearly enjoying themselves and entertaining the crowd. A pleasure to watch great actors at work. They lived the parts and make a great team. It is a theatre with comfortable seats and plenty of leg room, which being 6ft 4in is... More

There isn't a bad seat in this theatre. Plenty of leg room. Been here a number of times. Shows have been good, 'Lend Me a Tenor' the current show is very funny. All staff are friendly and the customer service is excellent.
