I was really impressed with my visit to Hyde Hall. From the very beginning it was so pleasant. There is ample free parking with only a short walk to the main entrance. The staff we met at the start were very friendly, polite and I efficient with their service. We easily purchased our tickets and wondered into the main gardens.... More

We took our daughter and granddaughters ( a 3yr old and a baby in a pram) out for the afternoon and the little one had great fun running around the vast areas of green grass. The volunteer at reception was very welcoming and provided her with 2 pamphlets, one for spotting birds and 1 for spotting butterflies, so we had... More

Spent a lovely morning and part-afternoon at Hyde Hall to visit the gardens and eat in the restaurant. All the plants are in tip-top condition and very educational. My neighbour (who visited with me) thought this place was exceptional ! It was a hot day so make sure you have plenty of drink to hand as the walk can be... More

Returned to Hyde Hall not having been there for over 10 years. The gardens have had extensive additions including an enlarged plant centre. The gardens are beautifully maintained and at this time of year full of the scent of roses. Look also at the dry garden especially the movement of the grasses in the breeze A wonderful visit and much... More

Not too pleased with the fruit winders in the kiddies boxes. They really need to get some REAL fruit in there! Otherwise lovely with great service.

This place is a real treat to visit. The walks are lovely and the RHS just keeps improving the place. Educational for families as well. We go very regularly just to get away. The food isn't cheap, but it's good. The plant shop is good; mainly because the plants themselves have been grown on site.

Went with friends recently. The whole garden was beautiful especially the roses and also alpine section. It was lovely walking around with all the vistas . If you wanted a gift there were lots of things to buy there.

Service is tricky at times as this is a very busy and popular venue. There is no clear indication that you can queue from both sides of the central point as you enter the barn, Mums leaving with buggies and older folks with mobility problems clash in the doorway which could be a real problem, I ushered my guest to... As my wife is an RHS member, we often get early notification of events taking place. This Rock & Roll Soiree was one of them, so 4 tickets were duly purchased. We arrived a few minutes early, in a light drizzle, fearing that the only summer we would see is in the title of the evening. Getting a nice position,... More
