Great if you love plants

A nice place to visit, it changes all of the time depending on the seasons. A nice restaurant but one downside, you cannot bring your dog on the site.

For those with an interest in gardens no matter how slight or just a love of wide open spaces this is a must. As RHS members my wife and I visit regularly, even in the winter. The gardens constantly evolve so the picture is ever changing. There is a well stocked gift shop and cafeteria and a restaurant. Also various... More

A good variety of plants in a variety of settings which are mostly practical for use in your own garden. A good variety of goods and plants to buy in the gift shop and nice food to purchase in the restaurant

I'm now a member of the RHS so that I can visit time and time again. Been going here since I was pregnant with my first child. Great access for those with buggies and lovely coffee shop and shop as well. They have a wonderful play area for children and are happy for you to take in picnics and play... More

Having visited the gardens last year, which are lovely, I thought it would be a nice place for lunch and a spot of gift shopping. Food was very disappointing, reheated and dry. But more importantly, very over priced. It is pointless having a decent coffee machine if none of the staff know how to properly use it, latte was awful... More

Being a RHS member and living nearby it is a regular stop off point with friends and family. Last week took a cousin from Edinburgh and we had a coffee and cake. Lemon drizzle cake was delicious. Shop is well stocked. I also use the gardens for planting ideas through the seasons for inspiration. Looking forward to my next visit... More

Visited on BH Monday with my 3 children. It was busy the whole area gardens etc beautiful and quite good natural play area. We also flew our kite. What was an awful shame was if you wanted to spend money in one of the eateries there were 30 minute queues everywhere they ran out of bread the ice team can... More

As regular visitors to Hyde Hall and RHS members we enjoy visits to the garden however the catering facilities are variable at best and today they managed to surpass themselves in terms of incompetent management and planning. Despite a well publicised event of a craft fair this weekend there was no extra provision for catering apart from one ice cream... More

As a member of the RHS you can visit as many times as you wish and also visit other RHS gardens. We have been members for a short while but have had some really great days out. Hyde Hall has some beautiful gardens which are changing all of the time with the different seasons and time of year. Everytime you... More
