Good place to relax and blow away the cobwebs

Nice place to unwind and walk in lovely gardens then go for a delicious home cooked meal in the Barn restaurant.

We visit Hyde Hall very regularly and it never fails to delight. The grounds are beautiful and for a short trip down the A127 you can step into an oasis of calm. Food in the main entrance cafeteria is limited, but the barn restaurant is very good. Sadly my wife gives the shop and garden centre a pounding every time... More

There are so many different themed gardens, giving good ideas for your own. Restaurants serve good food and the shop has many unusual items

Where we paid our admission the gentleman gave us a map and advised us there is a mobility vehicle took us up the hill what a excellent service we had.We enjoyed our visit at RHS and saw the Queens mother garden etc. Walked around the gardens and we had a very good time. Muddy in parts due to February weather.... More

A good day out in any weather but particularly when blessed with sun. Something of interest at any time of year and plenty of special events. If you are local it is good value to join the RHS so that you can drop by any day for a short or long visit. You also get early entry to the flower... More

This is so close to my home that I am often there. The café serves lovely soups and snacks - welcome after a long wander around the grounds. The restaurant at the top is an ideal place for lunch. Recommended

We were nearby, needed lunch, and were keen to have a quick look at the Gardens. We walked in the sunshine, but it was bitterly cold, to the Barn Restaurant which we much prefer to the large cafeteria near the entrance, and enjoyed our tasty “Special Meal Deal” in the pleasant and cosy surroundings. Thereafter, we had a quick look... More

Popped to Hyde Hall on a Sunday before Christmas to get some area. Lovely gardens to take a stroll regardless of the season. Delighted to find a climbing rose that I had been looking for in the garden centre shop, well presented plants. Enjoyed cake with coffee and visited to the shop to pick up some Christmas gifts.

Hyde Hall is one of those gardens that we visit again and again. We have a yearly subscription which is by far and away the most economical way to visit if you're going more than a couple of times a year. The gardens are beautifully maintained and are a pleasure to visit. Each season has i'ts own beauty,Spring and Summer... More
