The only bad experience was the Staff at the Nike outlet who just couldn't be bothered when my young son asked for help with a football kit. They were to busy talking about their personal life between themselves.

I've been to freeport many times since it opened, and everytime I go it is a disapointment, I never find anything I want, most of the shops are just empty shells and for the prices you might as well go to the highstreet or online. It doesn't feel like a outlet village at all, just a load of shops together.... More

Visited the retail park on Bank Holiday Monday and it was very busy. We arrived early so missed later traffic congestion. There is a wide range of shops and with extra discounts available the day we were there the price for a designer dress was very competitive.

Lots of outlet shops at Braintree Freeport with a good range, but not really any more stand-out than any other outlet mall.

I am very lucky because I live very close to Freeport, so often pop in and check out the bargains. There is a good variety of shops, places to eat and free parking. There is a free shuttle bus from and to Braintree Town Centre. There are newly refurbished WC facilities with Dyson hand driers.

There is a lot of choice here, but it's not the sort of place that you would visit every week. Because of the sales that were on, it became a very costly trip, with those must have bargains..... A retailers ideal!

This place is full of factory outlets and bargains - just be prepared to search a bit. The design is good and helps keep the dedicated shopper on track. Obviously you'll get no olde worlde charm or character here - it's purpose-built and dedicated to bargains but if that's what you're after, you'll be very happy. There are plenty of... More

Braintree has several shops to look through that will sell discount items that will not be in main stores. It has a large free car park with 6hrs free parking and 2minute walk away from train station. There is a few shops I do enjoy looking round, but very hit and miss if there items to buy. Just pot luck... More

I'm a frequent visitor and feel this is a decent place to pass time. It has good clothing shops, Cadburys shop, plenty of restaurants and has something for all ages. The free parking is great too. I wish it would expand with better name companies, that's my only negative.
