We called when on holiday from North Wales and we are lucky enough to have a brilliant pier in Llandudno and I.m glad to say Southwold is a close second. It is a delightful place to stroll along. We had a lovely coffee in the cafe. The "under the pier" show was good fun.

This is a lovely restored pier which is a must to visit when in Southwold. It is certainly a cut above the average pier and offers great views across to the town. The shops and cafés are well worth investigation as well as the famous " Under the Pier Show".

Have been here many times before and still enjoy it as much as the first time I visited. So what if the shop and café prices are a little bit higher than other places. The profits pay for the upkeep of the pier. Will be back again next year. Nearest toilets are just outside the entrance. If you are disabled... More

Its no secret that i'm a fan of anything Southwold related but the pier is one of my favourite things! The Under the Pier show is hilarious, the old arcade has the 2p machines of my youth, the shops are cute (yes at times a little pricey) and the clock is genius. I am yet to eat on the pier,... More
