Visiting the Pier - a lovely walk from the B+B. you can get good coffee and cake enjoying the view over the ocean. The Pier has also some little restaurants, we did not visit. Nice shops to buy gifts.

Well maintained traditional pier. Good addition to the resort. The brass plaques commemorating various occasions are a good addition.

Good place to eat and have fun. Nice little shops selling a few unusual items. Water clock gets rude at every hour which is a chuckle. Good pier.

A chance to look back at the classic south wold scene of sea, beach, the coloured huts, cliff town and lighthouse - many snaps taken. There is a crazy arcade of modern hand built mechanical 'games' that you have to try a few once inside, a really weird and wonderful experience. Shopping choices meant a wealth of options for knickknacks... More

No visit to Southwold is complete without a visit to the pier. It affords great views back towards the town and a selection of good gift shops and places to eat. My children enjoy watching the water clock and of course the amusement arcade.

A good day out any time of the year. Nice beaches and good town center with lots of pubs, hotels, cafes and nick Nick shops. Probably a largest Amber shop in east Anglia. Good selection of jewelry and other items. Admams ale brewery has a wonderful shop with all kinds of alcoholic drinks. A visit you will enjoy.

It was fantastic with no light pollution! A lovely combination of sand and stone made the beach accessible for all types of people.

Southwold pier is wonderful, places to eat, places to buy souvenirs but the best bit is the "Under the Pier Show", an experience not to be missed. The pier also provides a perfect place to get some really good photos of the town. We loved it.

Cute little shops but a bit windy to enjoy it completely. The room of home made slot machines is hilarious!
