Came here on way to Landguard fort and had a lovely wall overlooking the beach. Didnt see many birds but had a lovely, peaceful time nevertheless whilst the kids explored the surrounding area up and down the hills.

Nice place to watch birds doing there thing, there is a notice board telling of the latest birds to visit area, If the birds are not doing much or not about you can watch the enormous boats coming into Felixstowe docks some of these's boats are the biggest in the world carring about 16020 containers and they are so close.

Daily notice board stating what birds are around. If a rare bird twitchers come from miles around especially if a rare bird has arrived by container ship at the docks or blown in by the winds.
