Head over to the viewing area, where the Port of Felixstowe opens up to you and you can see the scale of Englands Largest container Port. If you like to look at the world's largest container ship arriving/leaving you will have a wonderful view.

Very good and relaxing place to visit with friends or family on a sunny day out but the number of organisations that are held is very low.

If you like being by the sea or shipping in general then just visit the viewing point for the docks, the sheer scale of the operation is impressive and the coming and going of ships is continous.

Interesting to see the amount of transported goods leaving the port, but this wasn't the sort of place to shout about.

The Port of Felixstowe is a large area which includes the massive port itself, a lovely nature reserve and an atmospheric beach to explore. The area is highly recommended for those who enjoy walking, bird watching, photography and beach combing. It is interesting throughout the seasons and it is fascinating to see the giant container ships load and unload. There... More
