well worth a visit-lovely food at reasonable prices, good gift shop, and the gardens and nature trail are wonderful-cant comment on the childrens adventure bit,but it looks amazing.
We have visited Pensthorpe ever since it opened when our children were small back in the 1980s. Over the years we've enjoyed many visits there...often just calling in for lunch and a look at the gift shop when time has been limited. Have always thought the restaurant offered good value for money, but yesterday when we stopped there for Sunday... More
We have spent many happy hours at Pensthorpe over the years, and enjoyed some nice meals and bought lots of things from the shop. Yesterday we visited your shop with our two year old granddaughter, on the way in she was very excited to see four ducks. After looking around the shop I just wanted to let her have a... More
Great for bird and wildlife watching. The shop is packed with lovely things and the restaurant offers lunches, coffee and cakes. The outside area is a must on a sunny day. For those who are unable (or unwilling) to do the walks, there is a safari bus which travels round the estate, taking you to places not found on foot.... More
A lovely day spent walking, and bird watching. 4 diffrent trails to follow short walk to a 5 mile walk. You can visit the shop and the restaurant without having to pay to walk around gardens and the trails. The restaurant serves light lunches, hot and cold drinks, cakes and ice creams. Well worth a visit.

A vast sprawling nature reserve just outside Fakenham, Pensthorpe is home to much wildlife. An excellent attraction for photographers, you can get close up to some birds in the walk through cages, there are also varied walks/trails around the park. A picnic is ideal if you take the long walk around and in summer you would probably spend longer here.... More

Wonderful wildlife and peaceful environment. Very helpful staff throughout. Home made goods in a lovely shop on site. Great coffee and scones. The new Adventure Playground is a must for the children to explore. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.
I visited on November 1st with my grand daughter and great grandchildren aged 7 and 5. We had a wonderful time. Yes, it does seem expensive at first but you get so much for your money. The 7 year old had recently visited with his school and was very anxious to show us the way to go. They both enjoyed... More

Felt a bit ripped off to be honest. The birds on the nature reserve were pretty but we only spent a few minutes doing that. To be fair though I think if you went in the summer you'd do a longer walk and feel like you get better value for money. The play park was awesome though. Cafe was nice... More
I visited Pensthorpe with my grandchildren aged 13 and 14 and we all enjoyed it immensly. The girls loved doing the trail and my hsband and I enjoyed the wildlife. The icing on the cake for the girls was the recently opened Wild Rootz. What a great place for children of all ages! It was difficult to drag them away.
