This attraction has greatly improved. There is still the beautiful wild life to enjoy, the Wensum walk, shop and cafe but in addition money has been spent on making this a great family attraction. The amazing children's play park with something for children of all ages is phenomenal, with a small stream running through. A great place to take the whole... More

Absolutely amazing place for all ages. Fantastic value for money considering it is easily a whole day out. Plenty to do and the playground is fantastic. They certainly have managed to achieve their aim of encouraging children to go outside, explore and learn. We will return. If we lived nearer the membership is great value. Very friendly staff and just... More

Beautiful attraction, I personally believe this is a destination not only for the birders but a great way to get the family involved with nature, if we want these places protected in the future it is key that we involve children at an early age, by combining nature and children's activities Pensthorpe is doing just that. we also stopped for... We went here not really knowing what to expect and reading some reviews thought it was going to be very expensive and maybe a bit disappointing. WRONG! We had an amazing time. There is so much to do we didn't get to see the whole park. There are several educational trails to do about the birds and bugs. There are... More

We took our son, his wife and 2 daughters here for their first visit. It was a sunny early April day, the first time my wife and I had visited early in the season. It was a great success and we also enjoyed the cafe food and drink. The bird life remains as spectacular as ever and the scenery is... More

A brilliant place to visit with the whole family. We went on a blustery March day and had a great time. The walk around the lakes is just the right length, giving you a good walk but not too long. The wildlife is amazing and the range of wildfowl is fabulous. A lovely little tea shop which is a good... More

We spent an afternoon here with our grandchildren on a cool February day. They loved feeding the birds. You can buy special food in the shop. It's a great place for exploring and the staff we met were very friendly and helpful. Unless you asked you would never know that it's owned by the Jordan cereal company...great that they don't... Up until a few years ago we were regular visitors to Pensthorpe. For £60-70 we could buy family membership and have as many visits as we wanted. The park would still benefit from our visits because we made purchases in both the gift shop and restaurant (and sometimes the discovery tour). All of a sudden we received advice that family...
