We had the 2 for 1 gardeners card which meant we saved at least £11 from our entrance fee so it was definitely good value for money! The kids (ages 1 and 4) loved the nature reserve and wildlife-spotting. It was a very relaxing and educational stroll. The passport stamps engaged the eldest one and the different sculptures around the... More

We decided to have girly day however it would have been just as lovely with a mixed age group including little ones. The wildlife is beautiful and the insects in the wildlife gardens fascinating ...even if they do bite.... The beautiful prairie style planted garden would have been even more interesting with plant labels . The outdoor play area for... More

What a wonderful place to spend the whole day. Our party comprised of the following ages: 5,7,37,40,60+ and there was something for everyone. The adventure park was challenging and fun with children encouraged to just "go for it". There was no negative signage "don't do this, don't do that" and the supervisors kept a very reassuring distance. The ponds were... More

I have been visiting Pensthorpe since it first opened, at each visit we find something has changed, usually for the better. There is a great variety of water birds, including my favourite Snow Goose! Plenty of interesting walks around the lakes beside the, river and into the woods We think the prices are rather expensive now, so don't visit as... More

We recently visited Pensthorpe Natural Park and we had a fantastic day. We were attracted by the website offering a day out for the whole family, children (11, 11 & 2) were obviously attracted by indoor and outdoor play and we decided that with the walks and wildlife available we could make a balanced day to suit us all. There... More

A great day out, brilliant outdoor play area and a new indoor play area too, so the children were happy but strikes right balance with beautiful walks and things for the adults.

We came here for the day on holiday. Unfortunately we didn't get lucky with the weather and it was quite windy so we didn't get to see as much as we would have on a calmer day. All the birds were very a joy to watch, some very beautiful. It was a very relaxing place to take a leisurely stroll... More

We had a visit to Pensthorpe Natural Park, what a magical place, the lakes and gardens are a real sight to behold. the lakes are full of many different breeds of waterbirds, even a beautiful water lily pond. The gardens are magnificent, beautifully set out and so many different varieties of flowering plants covered in bumble bees, not lucky enough... More

I had an outstanding day trip to Pensthorpe Natural Park, during my holiday in Wells! The staff were excellent, very friendly, happy and helpful (especially the reception team). We had a meal from the cafe, which to my delight, was the best meal of the entire holiday! The coleslaw was to die for! The park itself was absolutely breathtaking, walking... More
