There's something very relaxing about sitting in the warm looking out at endangered species. Then, outside where endangered species of geese come and take the crumbs from your sausage roll off your trousers. This a 100 mile round trip for us but well worth the effort. The wildlife and birds are wonderful, the cafeteria pleasant and the gift shop fascinating... More

Visited this amazing wildlife sanctuary on a miserable January day, with a friend who specialises in photographing birds. After a coffee in the courtyard café, we spent over three hours exploring the large grounds; it seemed we had the place to ourselves as far as humans were concerned. If you enjoy wildlife then this is the place to go, there... More

A large and light tea brick and flint tea rooms in the Pensthorpe nature park near the town of fakenham in north west Norfolk. Excellent selection of snacks, lunches and hot drinks but not cheap, normal high street chain prices.

Just a lovely family venue. The adventure play area is fabulous all Eco built and fun to use keeps the kids amused for over an hour. Then there is the nature trail where you can follow a map and collects stamps on the way. There is a glass hide where you can observe wildlife. Fabulous walks topped off a lovely... More

As people who enjoy wildlife, reserves and walking I can honestly say that Pensthorpe is one of the best. Despite a bit of a travel, we have been back on a few occasions. In fact, whenever we offer to take my 4 year old nephew out for the day he asks to go here every single time! The journey is... More

Staff very friendly and helpful food nicely cooked and presented. Everywhere clean and tidy there was a good choice of reasonably priced meals. Out door seating also available

With family visiting from New Zealand, we wanted to take the children (aged 6 and 4) for a day out to remember! Pensthorpe, particularly Hootz, was all we could have wished for. We found the staff welcoming and helpful. The facilities for all were well thought out and presented with flair. Well done all!

We all love Pensthorpe. It is a beautiful setting and there are plenty of things for our 12-year old twins to do. The new indoor play centre was a huge hit. My only gripe is that there is no wifi. When I asked the staff about this I was told the owners are keen for parents to play with their... More

Hi there. Thank you for taking the time write in with your comments following your visit to Pensthorpe last month. It’s really lovely to hear that your children had a good time while you were with us. With regards to WIFI, we will be introducing a more robust WIFI solution in the Café, Courtyard and Shop later this year. However,... More

We decided to join for a year after our first visit (that days admission taken off) in November and have been back 3 times since. Every visit we have seen something new and as we know the scenery will change every season we look forward to new experiences. The red squirrels have never let us down, we always see them... More

Visited this summer second time with my daughter. We really love this place. Very big park, so many friendly birds. Lakes, trees, very good place for resting in nature especially in summer. Day feels too short in this nature park.
