My husband and I visited on Friday along with my grown up son. I have to say, I was quite taken aback at the admission price, it cost over £27 for the 3 of us and that was with a £6 discount from a voucher! Despite the price, we thoroughly enjoyed our walk around the park, my husband enthusiastically collecting... More

I don't mind paying for a day out when it's good value. Maintaining these lovely gardens and open space must be costly. It's easy to find some tranquil space. Stunning surroundings. We went at beginning of hols so prob not as busy as other times but plenty of space. Play areas great. Well thought out. Trails good. Kids loved the flamingos.... More

Pensthorpe Natural park is without doubt one of the best family attractions i have visited. Our visit was in June 2015. i visited with my 72 year old mum, 7 year old daughter and my partner. Beautiful grounds fantastic wildlife ( we even saw a wild otter and wild water voles in the river that borders the park) brilliant kids... More

Pensthorpe is a good mix of attractive, interesting displays / animal enclosures and accessible nature reserve. Topped off with a well designed play area for kids. Lots of space for running around and plenty of birds in evidence to keep the interest up. The boys were never bored and the adult had time to take it in and relax. Being... More

Perfect place for a day out. Animal lovers will love it. Kids will be overwhelmed with their play areas. Nice cafe/restaurant, nice gift shop. Bird feeding available. Can't wait to go back.

After a family visit this weekend we just wanted to write a quick review to say well done to all the team at Pensthorpe for creating such a wonderful place. The birds are magical, the new childrens play area is extremely well done, and the staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly. 10/10 from all of us.

I can't praise this place highly enough, all the facilities are excellent - especially the children's play areas. We have 3 kids of different ages and it's sometimes difficult to keep them all amused, not here! I was a bit taken aback at the admission price for children (£9.75 over the age of 3), although I subsequently found out this... More
