We went originally to the Vintage Rally. Great selection of Vintage vehicles, lots of enthusiasts and thank you to all those who displayed their vehicles. The standard was high ! So our wander around Pensthorpe was a bonus. Lovely and relaxing. Nice selection of walls with lots to say, places to just sit relax and admire. Quiz for the children... More

Pensthorpe is a lovely place to spend a few hours. The wader aviary is brilliant as you can get really close to lots of Waders and the Bearded Tits are lovely. It is a great chance to see these birds which can be difficult to see in the wild. There are nature trails that take you through the reserve around... More

Our visit was in consequence of exhibiting a classic car at the recent Vintage Day. The weather was far from ideal for the event or the main attraction but we took advantage of our complimentary entrance and had a stroll around the park in light drizzle. We made it back to the building just as the deluge began, so we... More

This is a great place to visit if you are interested in wildlife (particularly birds). It is an extensive area of marsh land with a number of small lakes and the river Wensum running right through the site. There are signed viewing points and numerous walkways with seats and hides where you can easily lose yourself for a few hours... More

We had a wonderful day at Pensthorpe. It had been on my to do list during our holiday in Norfolk the previous year but we hadn't got round to it. However this year we did and it was fascinating. We went on a day when the coast was shrouded in mist but Pensthorpe was in glorious early autumn sunshine. We... More

We started off by taking the tour around the park. This was mainly around the areas that you cannot walk to and gave a lot of background about the park. We travelled in the back of the land rover and as the seat face to the middle the was a lot of awkward turning needed! I suggest the the trailer... More

Would recommend the landrover tour to see and hear about the reserves evolution. Expensive in the gift shop and season ticket beyond reach. Not competitively priced to encourage a repeat visit in the near future.
