Enjoyed our visit very much. A relaxing calm place with great gardens and plenty of wildlife. Brilliant for taking photographs of birds.

We started off by taking the tour around the park. This was mainly around the areas that you cannot walk to and gave a lot of background about the park. We travelled in the back of the land rover and as the seat face to the middle the was a lot of awkward turning needed! I suggest the the trailer... More

Would recommend the landrover tour to see and hear about the reserves evolution. Expensive in the gift shop and season ticket beyond reach. Not competitively priced to encourage a repeat visit in the near future.

We go every year for the medieval spectacular and have a lovely time, the re-enactments of jousting and fights are amazing, you can see how people lived, made food and houshold items whilst enjoying the beautiful gardens. There is also a lovely big play area for children with plenty of picnic benches but you can buy food there is yoiu... More

Its a great day out, lots to see and do for all ages, a great big play park for the kids as well. Not too pricey either. Big parking area with facilities for disabled visitors. There are many birds to see and watch, or you can just walk around following paths. They have Red Squirrels as well and are part... More

Good afternoon, thank you so much for your absolutely fantastic review. We are delighted to hear you enjoyed your visit. The Red Squirrels are beautiful. Pensthorpe Conservation Trust (PCT) is working alongside other members of the East Anglian Red Squirrel Group to support future captive breeding and release projects and we are very fortunate to have successful breeding pairs here.... Visited recently with family, 3 generations. Foolishly went on the wensum tour which was basically a ride around a few fields and woods which surround the main attraction. We may have been unlucky but we saw no wildlife save a few cows and sheep. The vehicle was uncomfortable and open to the elements. The main attraction was good as was... More

A very enjoyable day out in the fresh air enjoying the wildlife. Not so good if raining! Easy walking as there are very few (gentle) gradients. I didn't think the admission price was outrageous, given the huge ongoing investment needed to run the place.

This is quite a hard review to write really as pensthorpe is really beautiful but I found that the entry price didn't really reflect what you were getting. Having a child of 10 and another who is 3 I thought they would really enjoy the play area and whilst the 10 year old loved it my youngest struggled to use... More
