We went as a group (13 people) and had one of the best experiences ever. Not only the actual sleigh-rides, but the interaction and handling of the dogs was also an extremely cool. I learned so much about dogs and Huskies in particular in just a few hours. The dogs are so easy to handle and very well used to... More

I booked this excursion based on tripadvisor recommendations and I was not disappointed. My sister and I were on a cruise which stopped for a day in Lonyearbyen and we thought that a visit to a dog farm, and a dog sled ride would be a once in a lifetime experience. It was fantastic. Our guide met us at the... More

We were told this adventure is even better wintertime. It may be so, but we had a very god time this saturday morning anyway. First we drove to a storehouse, where we were equipped with protection clothes, both for keeping us warm and for protection against dirt. It was necessary indeed. At last we got to the kennel out in... More

We did an overnight stopover in Svalbard during a week in Tromso. The Adventdalen husky tour was to be the highlight of our trip, with a ride on a sledge on wheels around the valley. It was expensive, but different. We were split between three sledges with the guide, who had picked us up at our lodging going first with... More

We rode in a dog-sled on wheels. Several places do this in Svalbard in the summer - in winter it would be a real dog-sled. You pay Svalbard prices (that is a small fortune), but for that you get to harness up your own two-person dog-sled, drive it (turn and turn about), and feed the dogs afterwards. They are really... We went here as part of a cruise excursion/ Not cheap, but then its Norway prices. However althought we used the sleds in the summer (no snow) it was a good experience with these nice dogs. We certainly got the feel for the experience and had a good time. Guides were fine and of a great help. Would definately do... More

We really enjoyed the day with all the husky dogs, and especially the kids (9, 12 and 17 year) were absolutely thrilled by the possibility to both cuddle with and help out feeding all of them. The dogs made a whole lot of noise, but were all very friendly and easy to handle. We picked our dogs fpr the wagons... More

Travel to Svalbard and experience dog sledge was our burthday present for a 18 years old girl. We choosed from the available bidders based on feedback and our impression from their appealing internet page. In addition we agreed not to pick the biggest provider. Our guide Thomas made our day a great experience and memory. We particular enjoyed that we... More

Myself and my brother went on 4 hr experience . Our German guide Dani was friendly and professional . Getting the dogs harnessed up and helping feed them after made the experience great . The sledging was great and I would highly recommend it . 10/10

Third time dogsledding in Lonyearbyen, and the definitely poorest experience: - unexperienced and uninspired guide - poor guidance before starting the trip - no snack or serving (which other companies have provided) - me and my woman had to feed 60 dogs together with the guide after the trip - not proper first aid kit available when necessary - no... We're very sorry to hear that you had a bad experience with us. We try yo make every guest a happy guest, and we are very sad that we didn't make it this time. However we feel like commenting a couple things. -No, theres no snack or serving during the trip, since there's no water in the dogyard wintertime, it's... More
