This place, which is a 3 minute walk up from the Spar Supermarket in Hersonissos, is absolutley brilliant. As your walking along the road, John will probably have one of the Pythons out on the wall. Well, the title says it all. This place was a life saver for us as theres not much variety for a 20month lad in crete. No animal park anywhere on crete we were told. Inexpensive outing for the family. Excellent presentation of reptiles and native fish. Friendly and informative presentations by the owners. Easily accessible, located just of fthe main street. Definitiely worth a visit more

Working with reptiles is my profession and I visit every zoo or similar institution wherever I go. Aquaworld beats many large places. John is a very enthusiastic herpetologist and does a great job educating people about these wonderful and for many people strange creatures. Also the aquarium part is very nicely done.
