This is one of the temples in the Puri Jagannadh temple complex, and is reminiscent of the grandeur of the temple architecture. If you walk with your panda, you will not miss this temple.

pujari gives the sindoor and choodi in our hand and tries to extort money. if we people give it back saying they cant pay that much he emotionally blackmails them that they should give back the sindoor...

It's one of the shakthi peeth located within Jangannath temple. The pandas in Vimala devi shrine are the worst. They sell bangles and sindoor for Rs 20. Once the pilgrims buy them, they let me close to goddess and the panda there does some pooja for 2 mins and then he demands money. He never accepts donation less than Rs... More

Located in the proximity of sun Temple. Have Mahaprasad , which is cooked for lord jagatnath. Mahaprasad is one of the different kind of food you are going to get.

Goddess Vimla is another temple which is crowded on thursday and like Goddess Laxmi mostly visited by devotees during Jagannath Darshan.They are age old temples built around Jagannath temple.
