Nice place

Three different falls at one place. Named after a ELEPHANT shaped rock in the vicinity, though the rock was destroyed in an earthquake

Best for pics, a 45 minute drive from the hotel got us here. Don't take the pains of going down, not much to see. As you enter, the fall on your right is beautiful, you can hear the water when you enter. Take pics there. The shops upstairs are great for shopping, much better from Police bazar too. Good value... It is a nice place for a family picnic. The falls are in 3 stages making it very interesting. The place is nicely managed and well kept. There are many tourists see here and thus looks to a favorite spot for people.

This is a waterfall complex where there are three falls. None of them is very big and beautiful as compared to other waterfalls on the road to dawki from mawlynnong. Water is polluted and it is not that attractive. Give it a miss if you have seen other big falls.

The falls are one of the main attractions of shillong. The place is well maintained. It is a unique three-step fall. If you are suffering from knee problem do not go down to second and third levels as many steps have to be climbed down and up.

The waterfall is a typical waterfall you could find anywhere in the country. Its definitely not the one you would have come all the way long to meghalaya and what the this abode of clouds known for. But you can have some nice photos clicked in the traditional dress as a souvenir at the entrance after paying a nominal fees.to... More

i had visited the place back in 2000 as a kid, the was more natural back then, not with all the stairs painted white and the concrete frame work around the falls it seems to artificial. Disappointed!
