Elephant Falls are in middle of city but how the authority has hidden it from Crowd is really amazing because until you enter premises, walk 400 meters, purchase entry ticket, and goes down 20 steps, you can not even listen the roar of Elephant Falls. Elephant Falls is divided in 3 parts. First part is the best and most scenic.... More

This is an Average looking falls, not very huge or anything. You will have to climb up and down a lot of stirs so its not advisable for old people or tourists with knee or joint problems. There are no lifts to it.

Its a really beautiful waterfalls near to the main city. The 3 phase falls almost create artificial trekking for the visitors around it. Best in monsoon.

The Elephant Falls is a beautiful sight to behold. Though walking down 100 steps and climbing back takes a lot of effort. The best part was when we took a photograph wearing the clothes of the Royalty. It took 5 mins and was very well organised. Will keep that photograph all through my life!

amazing falls. a set of three. fully laden with water as they are very near cherapunjee, the place which receives the highest rainfall in the world. bathing under the fall is not allowed as the momentum of water has a high magnitude. awesome place

One of the shillong's most accredited tourist spot. Should definitely pay a visit there, there are 3 views of the falls from 3 different location. Please be careful in climbing the steps, it might be slippery as the steps are continuously drenched by the water dripping from the trees during rainy season.

It was about 6 pm and we were a large group. You really have to go deep down to have a good view of the falls, but every step is worth it...It is a MUST GO Place in shillong...
