beautiful place it is but be careful guys when you visit this place. There is an evil spirit living in this place. This fall has taken a lot of young lives.

This falls is in the outskirts of Shillong & we went to it in the late evening just before the sky darkened on us. We had to go through the army base there & reached it to see the falls from far. There were few steps to go down a bit & view the falls & a viewpoint is being... More

We decided to go to Sweet falls which is not a very popular tourist spot, since we had ample time in hand, but then we realized that it's far away & in a very secluded location with no proper roads; the scenery was beautiful as we came out of the city, but it's not at all safe; very lonely &... But when we reached falls, there was no one except our family to watch it. The palce is having lot of glass pieces (may be i can say broken alcohol bottles)... More

Sweet Falls on the outskirts of Shillong and seen from the road to Mawshbuit is a lovely spot for a picnic. It's a half hour walk down the hill from the road.
