Situated near Happy Valley at a distance of about eight kilometers from Shillong. It resembles a straight pencil of water emerging from a large size water pipe, as it drops vertically over a distance exceeding two hundred feet. Most suitable for a day's outing and picnic, Explore it!

You will have to hire a vehicle to get here, passing through the Army Cantonment. It is definitely a sight to enjoy. The best time would be during the monsoons.

That was something fishy ! Our driver said local people avoid the falls as they call it a "Haunted" falls. Saying is... More

The high point is the journey to happy valley. The hills that surround the roads are breathtakingly beautiful. And the falls is so pretty that it would mesmerize you. Very good for a romantic getaway.

Again, another place which is listed in the must visit in Shillong. I went there in June and I was not allowed to go anywhere close to it because a scool is being constructed and the path has been closed. Hence a waste of time.

This is ~ 12-14 kms away from Shillong city. Did not feel it was much since I liked this much better than the elephant falls, though we cannot reach anywhere near the falls. All we can do it view it from a distance. We did not see a way to reach anywhere close to the foot of the falls as... More

Its in a very silent place. Not many tourists come. When we went there there were a bunch of young boys and girls. The views are breathtaking though the place is little creepy(may be because of the haunted stories..though we didnt experience any)
