This place is a sheer waste of time, escpecially in January. The grass is brown rather than green and there's nothing interesting about the place. we didnt even bother to get down from the cab to check it out. Being a golfer myself and coming from a town with two big golf courses, this golf course was a big disappointment.

We visited Shillong in February, and the Golf Course is the first spot you visit if you take the whole day tour of Cherrapunjee, starting from Shillong. It is a very picturesque place, however, to our disappointment, we could not get to see any golfing action.

Golf Links is a vast golf course located close to Polo Bazar in Shillong. Though technically it is a golf course, in reality it also used by locals and tourists for soccer, frisbee and picnics. Go for the fresh air, full view of the surrounding hills, stargazing (at night) or just to have some fun somersaulting! Shillong lies in the... More

Really nothing great...seems more like an undulating ,wild unkept meadow rather than a golf course.Road passes through the golf course ..through the cars we can have a look at the golf course on both sides....okay for a drive through.

Of the few sightseeing places this has been included wonder why? On the road the driver parks the car and shows you the sight except greenery and a few golf balls and a customary remembrance pics that needs to be clicked there is nothing to rave about this place.
