Golf Links is Shillong's 18 hole golf course which has a golf club with active members. The vast course with sheer green grass manicured to perfect uniformity gives this entire area a beautiful feeling. A must visit part of town which is not crowded and has the best ambience in terms of nature beauty and serenity! Awesome!!

We didn't play a round but just took a long walk through this beautiful course in the pouring rain. The squelch of grass and mud, the shifting landscape through the steady drizzle, the soothing grey-green all around... One of the most romantic evenings I have every spent!

This place is a sheer waste of time, escpecially in January. The grass is brown rather than green and there's nothing interesting about the place. we didnt even bother to get down from the cab to check it out. Being a golfer myself and coming from a town with two big golf courses, this golf course was a big disappointment.

We visited Shillong in February, and the Golf Course is the first spot you visit if you take the whole day tour of Cherrapunjee, starting from Shillong. It is a very picturesque place, however, to our disappointment, we could not get to see any golfing action.

Golf Links is a vast golf course located close to Polo Bazar in Shillong. Though technically it is a golf course, in reality it also used by locals and tourists for soccer, frisbee and picnics. Go for the fresh air, full view of the surrounding hills, stargazing (at night) or just to have some fun somersaulting! Shillong lies in the... More
