It is huge park and a wonderful place for children to play. it also has a small zoo. Very peaceful place with a lot of flowers and greenery.

The Lady Hydari Park was made by the British during their rule of India. This park is maintained by the government of Meghalaya and has been kept very well. The parks in Shillong are very well maintained. one can spend hours admiring the flowers and greenery. Weather is always very kind to shillong. Nice place to be.

Very well maintained botanical park, which also houses a mini zoo. The plants and flowers please the eye. Children's play area is also good.

Resembles a large picnic garden on Sundays, with lots of people sitting on the grass in groups, playing, eating, relaxing. Its the only mini zoo in shillong with various types of animals found in Himalayan region and northeast india. A must visit for family and kids. It also have a park with various kinds of flowers and a mini museum.

Good to spend some time with children as it is a good place to have a walk and also one can see animals such as bear, civet and birds such as vulture, eagle in the cage. Nice place to relax and take rest.

Excellent garden, Zoo as well as sanctuary, very close to nature. Best is a 'Maina' bird which repeats whatever you say at the fag end of this garden. Very entertaining for children. Really Good!
