I did not find any characteristic distinguishing quality of Hyderi Park. The area is vast and situated within the town. I entered the museum and viewed some stuffed animals. I came out from... More

This is one of the best places to hangout in Shillong. Situated at the heart of the city is a must visit for the first timers.

Like most of the parks this park is also unique, but what I loved most is the street food in front of the park. You will find many varieties from Egg role, pani puri to alu chop. Most of them are very spicy and really hot. Ask the vendor your choice before making.

Average park . built during the Raj , named after the governor's wife. Mostly visited. By large families with kids. Can visit only for the historical value. Nothing much to do there

The Lady Hydari Park was made by the British during their rule of India. This park is maintained by the government of Meghalaya and has been kept very well.
