Location gives a nice scenic view which includes Bhivapuri power plant towers of, Karjat Lake, Garbut point, Rambaag point, Ulhas river etc. This is in the northern part of Matheran. The local horse ride will help to reach there.

Alexander point is 15 min walking distance from the city market and near hotel Westend. There are barricades and the view is ok at this point.

The point gives you good view of valley and also the road continuosly keeps on giving you glimpses of valleys. Population of monkey was also missing at this point which was a surprise. It also had a valley crossing zipline set up which will take you to rambagh point. But there was no one near the set up.

Same mountain range, ...keep on walking and looking for another angle of same. Similar view what you get when you travel from Mumbai to Pune, or Lonavala, or Khandala.

Its a sunrise point and gives and awesome view of eastern side of the mountain. From here you can visit other points in the morning and finally head back to hotel. There are 5 points covering 4.5 km which can be a good morning walk.

The walk through the jungle to reach Alexander Point was memorable! It's very quiet, possibly not as popular as Louisa or Echo points, but cool place nonetheless.
