Matheran is a place where we can relax away from the vehicular traffic of the cities and this park i an ideal place for relaxation. parking arrangement is huge. its jungle space. road & parking can be much better considering the influx

“A heavenly walk to Alexander Point.”

Its a long walk to get here, but its shady all the way with huge trees, atleast 100 years old, giving the paths a respite from the sun. There are dried leaves scattered all around, which gives Matheran its very rustic look. A few homes dot the long walk and they appear like they have been copied from a story... More

“Nice little place for relaxing for adults and playing for kids”

This park is located a few minutes away from Matheran railway station, and right there inside the main market area. At first glance, you may not notice it clearly, but it is worth a visit. It is well maintained garden with lot of activities for kids and children. Sadly, no "activity" for adults!! If you take a few steps down... More
